That yard has years and years of hard work put into it. And not a little bit of money. Whether the owner did it himself, with help, or contracted out. That is his pride and joy. Seeing it like it was when you started and knowing what it could look like made everything else he was going through worse. This will give him a TREMENDOUS boost. If he can get out and get his hands in that dirt again, it will be even better. I bet he is looking through garden catalogs right now. Unless you have been in that spot you cannot know the depth of his gratitude for this.
