What I'd really like to see is more people developing Tiny home communities so that there are more choices for you and others without crazy high rents. The best thing would be fairly flat land with some trees. They need to use their own money or a loan to develop the land. If people use older trailer parks, the infrastructure is already there. Make sure there's grass on at least 1/2 the lots, a laundry mat and community room/ center. Then add a dog park and/ or walking trail, as rents come in and the owners' funds increase .

Yes, exactly my thoughts!!! So many people see the need for places to put tiny homes but they're jacking up the rent and taking advantage of people not having a place to put their tiny home!! I think it's terrible!!! People don't have to charge as much as they do and for what??? U don't even get a darn hard. Smh

I agree with you. You should have a place/lot for you and Cody's comfort. For those who have a house that is 8 - 8.5 ft wide and 16- 30 Ft long and under 13 ft tall, with a vehicle that is very capable of towing it, that is great. But houses that are over 8.5 ft wide need special transport to be moved, and that can be expensive. I hope Cody had a great birthday. I hope you have a good day too, and wishing you positive luck to find a lot, or switch houses on the lot that you are on. Too bad you couldn't switch refrigerators too. That Magic Chef fridge is real nice size for a Tiny House. I have been able to get quite a bit in mine, and my freezer also, I love my Magic Chef fridge. I had another one that my brother-in-law picked out after we all moved to the house we are into back in 2012. This Fall it will be 12 years in this house. That fridge didn't work anymore, so I got it replaced with the Magic Chef fridge, just like your mom's. This one has a bit more room, especially in the freezer. The other one was a Magic Chef, that lasted a decade. I have a good feeling this one will last at least that long. It has been over a year, just after Christmas 2022. I like the Galanz retro style fridges, but the Magic Chef seems to have a roomier freezer which really helps, and the fridge part is awesome and more up to date. It even has a place for a six pack of can beverages.

Im in the same perdicament some what like you... now that I'm working at Dollywood I'm looking to try and move close and be in a campgrounds with a nice camper...here is what ive been doing to get an idea of/on location...go onto google and put in long term campsites and where you want to be...ive been getting a lot on fb and i ceck into them and some will give you an idea of their location...but there are a lot in the Newport area...even check on your fb market place and put in what your looking for and area make sure they say that their long-term plus you can contact them and ask them your questions thats what im going to do with the ones that I've been writing down...im thinking more of the Newport area because theres less traffic there compared to Pigeon Forge area...good luck

I wonder if those wood houses had their exteriors stained or whatever treatment given? They're exposed to the elements and wood will deteriorate if not treated. I've read a BBB or Yelp review wherein the client/ owner said that his house was left outside on the lot for several months. He couldn't take possession of it because it needed some repairs but the company (ITH) wasn't responding.

ITH will not fix anything or return your call’s or emails. Randy Jones, is a huge liar, thief & Con-man. He will be shut down sooner, then U think. IRS will investigate him on taxes. He will be done for it. Amber was very smart to exit the sinking company. Just like a sinking ship, won’t be long & ITH will be another bankruptcy or seized by the Federal Government. 😮

Yes, great location. You can bet that they will get filled up especially because of that. Lola's is just too far and I wouldn't like the isolation. This place could be a contender if you could pick the best lot that is left that would fit your and Cody's needs. You never know when new places will be developed but with that it seems the price tag keeps getting higher and higher. 🥰

I liked the way the houses were placed it made it so you aren't facing the neighbors like a regular neighborhood. The rent is good plus I seen a lot of grass. It is certainly one to consider.

You haven't mentioned anything about swapping tiny homes, so I'm guessing the quote from the move guy was really high. ☹Hang in there, your place will show up when you least expect it. Acony Bell Tiny House Community is beautiful! It’s about half an hour outside of Asheville, NC. No idea what the lot prices are. They have plenty of grass.

I already asked at dollar general, for my second job, in addition to my delivery job but they aren't hiring. If they are hiring, it's pretty part time, i mean like 10 hrs part time lol. But it's close!!!

I think that's what Teresa of "Rhinestones and Wrinkles" did. She bought an acre of land, put utilities in and is now building a shed-to-home conversion (as per her county's rules). Tiny homes are not allowed in her new area so she sold her TH and is doing a new build.

❤call first and see if they have more private flatter areas before you say anything. Stop and talk to the owners. You won't know what all they have until you talk to them. Isn't that common sense to see the owners, before making judgments. They might have other areas. Who knows
