This song wasn't exactly removed "for no reason." This song was removed due to legal reasons with the Hoshi no Kaabii anime. I still added this video to my "Songs Removed From Smash Ultimate for No Reason" playlist because it sucks that this awesome song got removed from the Smash Bros. games after Brawl.

@@redviolet69 A common misconception but no actually! The song's original title is "Strong Star Warrior" and it often played during various moments throughout the Kirby anime, typically whenever Kirby uses an ability and gets the upper hand on the enemy. Kirby Air Ride's soundtrack reused various songs from the anime series particularly for City Trail, albeit more compressed. This is most likely due to Masahiro Sakurai being the director of the anime, as well as director for Air Ride which was the last Kirby game he ever directed. Based on this this means this is the first song from other non-game Nintendo media to be in Smash Bros. (and in addition this version of the song is the one originally used for the anime, as it lacks the compression that Air Ride's version has)

1:28 My favourite part of all Kirby Songs of the Smash song library. It is so freaking satisfying. Sad to hear it got removed like bruh. I found out only now while listening to a SSBU playlist and then it got to WiiU Kirby after all the Brawl songs and I'm like wait whaaaaaaaaaat

It's actually higher quality as far as I can tell, GC music was often compressed and was often not 44.1kHz, can't remember about this soundtrack.
