This concert was on for two nights in London. The cast rehearsed for just a few days. I don't think some of you know who Idina Menzel , Adam Pascal and Josh Groban are. Have you heard of RENT, WICKED? As for the Chess comments. This is what is called a MUSICAL!! In fact one of the very best EVER composed!!! And by the way have you heard of ABBA?

Eh, you can tell a little bit in my opinion. With regards to Josh, that is. Now if Josh were to have grown out the beard he has now(his "Pierre look" in the electro pop opera, Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), during the time of this recording, THEN it be harder to tell that he's younger here. To my mind, the one who looks significantly older than the two of them is Adam Pascal(Freddie), and he's only older by one year than India.

shinigamideathgirl White moves first--every time. Switching colors, or 'sides,' ensures that the advantage doesn't interfere with the outcome of the tournament. Sure, you could just turn the board around, but physically switching sides was more 'dramatic.' :)

There'd be more tension - but it also wouldn't as effectively demonstrate how shattered Freddie is. If it's any consolation - in the Broadway canon, it's one tournament (Anatoly is World Champion, Freddie challenging) and Freddie wins.
