My dad was a mechanic for 35yrs, he died of stomach cancer it was hard watching him go through it he went strong about it, but i never had known about god much, never really look into it but when i was there with my dad i saw evil and i saw good it was like angels and demons where inside that room with us like there was a spiritual war going on around my dad in his hospital bed, the demons sending me some ugly negative thoughts but then an angel would come and help me clear my mind and rebuke all evil... in the end i saw 3 angels lift my dad into heaven 2 guarding protecting his way into heaven and the middle one lifting him up

Depending what is expected 25% leak down should still be fine. As a general rule if you check leak-down on Inline 4 Cylinder Engines number 1 & 4 come up together and so do 2 & 3 that would safe you a little time. Nice Video !!!

Once you find one bad cylinder, then the whole engine needs rebuild. We were taught the leakdown test in high school auto shop 57 years ago. But they just connected a compressed air line, pumped up to 100psi, then closed off the air supply. We watched for a few minutes to see of the pressuer held. But your system is much better and faster. You see immediately any leaks and where they are located, except for head gasket leaks between cylinders.

Why would you want to put it to top dead center if the cams aren't even in place? How does the position of the pistons influence the test results..

Because the top is where most of the wear occurs from piston side thrust (rocking motion)

doing a compression test with engine out of car do you need to have engine oil inside of engine while rotating to evaluate the compression?
@oldskoolfunk715 жыл бұрын
No, just dump 4 teaspoons of oil in the cylinders then test them. It's called a wet test
@joey2shots2605 жыл бұрын
@@oldskoolfunk71 i did that and the engine failed 150psi specs and im getting 50psi cylinder #1 cyl 2# 20psi 3#15psi 4,5 30psi and 6 100psi milage 160,000 had a severe over heating.

yeah, inline engines are very heavy. But on Subaru boxer, I can move it myself, if there is no heads on it. I can lift the block off the ground to the table. B18 B16, 2.4l vtec, I cant even nudge them off the ground. Must be twice as heavy.
