Make sure positive reaches the ignition coil. If it does not, trace back.

Another day I was repairing a known German brand forklift, no start, no lights on dash, nothing - the key switch contact had come loose from driving on uneven ground.

I wonder if the other tech checked the fuses as well but just touched the fuse rather than the fuse holder so he didn’t catch that the holder was loose.

So on my Toyota 42-3fg i have no power at coil, used the test light like you did to the positive side of coil but still getting no spark? Where to look now? My key was left on and after charging the battery it lost spark....

The other wire would go to the distributor. This wire provides a pulsed negative to the coil to create a spark. If that is present, then check the resistance of the coil primary and secondary. Also make sure that the battery is strong enough to crank the engine consistently.

Great video as a always, quick question, do you know what the definition for a p1249 code on a Komatsu FG25T-14 Forklift with a Nissan k21 engine. I am having a crank no start issue

P1249 -LPG fuel pressure is excessively high

If the fuel pressure is really high then the engine could get flooded preventing it from starting.

Can a p0118 code cause a no start issue on those nissan k21 engine. Because I am having a no start issue and the two codes present are p1249 and p0118

It has three coils so I replaced the one that was not firing.
