sorry, one last thing, the guage will damaged due high pressure not regulated, under normal operating conditions the gauge are not present, the 1/8 hole is closed of with a plug, once the engine are swithed off, the lpg pressure is locked in between the solenoid and the secondary vacuum lock off, this lock of is important due to the fact that when the ignition is on solenoid are opened the no need for lpg "bleed" to happen and the engine will start almost immediately when ignition are turned and the vacuum lock off is open via engine vacuum
@deonlewis69704 күн бұрын
guage defection is normal, it shows inline supply pressure, the high deflection will come down once vacuum is active and the secondary regulator is open, the constant flow pressure is adjusted to maintain regulator flow between 3 and 4 pounds depending on engine size, lower engine size will need lower adjustment to about 3 pounds, test should only be done regulated air pressure not exceeding guage max, lpg flow pressure should be done at engine idle with normal operating temp to check primary flow rate, ussually slight adjustments can be done, then lock and close, the high deflection noticed on the guage is normal due to the lpg pressure pressure when engine not running and vacuum are close, once vacuum are open the primary pressure will drop down again to normal adjusted regulated pressure when engine are running,

My Raymond 2014 Raymond 750 R45TT is giving me the following codes 4B, G4 and GD. Brand new battery installed yesterday and still throwing the same codes which made me sad. I have a new steering amplifier coming in mail from Raymond tonight. Is it possible the steering amplifier could clear all 3 codes? I watched a video where the GD code is related to a worn out thrust bearing in the right wheel? Just curious what other parts I should be ordering in advance if the steering amplifier does not fix the problem.
@johnhutchinson450624 күн бұрын
Just answering my own question from last night for anyone that may see this message. So my backstory was that I managed to purchase my 2014 750 R45TT from an auction website for $370.00. It was sold as non-op. It had 2 bad cells in the battery which I knew I would need to replace. When I got the unit, I was able to get the battery to hold a charge finally and power the lift truck up. It ran for a moment and then it would throw DG, 4B and 4G. I was hoping that it was voltage related since two of the cells were dead and that replacing the battery with a new one would clear the codes. New battery was installed and was still getting the codes. I replaced the steering amplifier last night, thanks to this video, stepped on the deadman switch and the codes popped up again putting lift into limp mode (would not turn, and went slowly forward and backwards) Then what I did was toggled the switch three times to try and clear codes. G4 and 4B codes popped up immediately but i was able to still operate the lift truck. I locked the wheel all the way to the right and went in circles about 5 times, then locked the wheel in the opposite direction and went in circles five times. After doing this, the G4 code went away and then I 4B was illuminated and the truck kept beeping consistently which it had never done. I was able to drive the lift with the 4B code beeping so I drove it for about 15 minutes doing laps in my facility, going fast going slow, forwards, backwards, locking wheel left and right. Then I finally shut it down, turned it back on and now no codes appear... knock on wood I think I am in the clear. The steering amplifier was definitely one of the root causes of my codes but I think my other issue was related to the brushes on the steering motor. I noticed (earlier in this process), after installing the new steering amplifier, and with powder and door compartment open, that when I turned the wheel, large sparks were appearing from where the brushes are located on the motor. Mind you, this machine has been sitting for god knows how long. It has 64,000 hours of "key time" on it, but only 2000 hours of dead man time, but I dont know how long it sat. I looked at the brushes and they looked fine, still a decent amount remaining... but what I noticed is that the motor it self (copper spindle section) looked pretty worn down and rough, not smooth... I think that moving the motor left and right was able to get the brushes to kind of hone their faces and re-seat on the spindle so they were making better contact. So short answer in my experience... GD, 4B and G4 are definitely (in my case ) related to steering amplifier (I can confirm this because one of the capacitors fell out of my old one) when I was wiggling them lightly. But if that does not resolve your issue... look at the brushes on the steering motor and inspect them. If I was not able to get the codes to go away, or if they rear their heads again, then I was going to try and remove the motor, hone the copper part that touches the brushes, and then replace the brushes. Best of luck to anyone else out there!

Hello just found your channel. I've been fixing forklifts for about 17years now. Always nice to have new resources in my toolbox so to speak. I'm curious what are you using for a scope? I work for a Toyota dealer so have access to all the factory stuff. But for off brand some of the diagnostic aid you use would be really helpful. Thanks.

Im having an issue with the alternator not charging on a toyota 8fgu25. I changed the alternator and the new one output even less. When u raise rpm voltage also goes up but at idle stays at 12.68. My s wire had 0 volts. I checked power at fuse fuse was blown. Changed fuse and it was only showing 12.6 on one side and 6.3 on the other then it blew again. Im stumped on it rn.

At 7:00 you can assume the white/black wire is ground, it may be a power wire that got pinched and grounded. you needed to rule that out by not moving the test light to Negative before testing both wires to positive while the coil was disconnected. Great video, great processor of elimination. thanks

You are an excellent technician! I’m hoping you can help. I have a Nissan with the k21 engine. It stalled out one day and wouldn’t start. Next day it started and ran fine. Next day no start and hasn’t started since. We replaced both cam and crank sensors, replaced the vaporizer, and fuel injector. Still won’t start, cranks even and strong but won’t start. Checked for spark and has no spark to all cylinders. Coils have power going to them. Even tried a new coil and no spark. The fuel injector only pulses once so it’s not constantly injecting. We have good compression in all four cylinders. Replace the ECM and still won’t start. What should I check next? Thanks for any help!!! Also, coolant and oil levels are full. Power and ground to the ECM are good. Wire harness to the cam and crank sensors is good.
@forkliftgeek104 ай бұрын
If you don't have spark then it would be the cam sensor signal. I know you said you replaced the cam sensor but make sure it is OEM (metal case) and not the after market (plastic case).
@Blue-Collar-Bible4 ай бұрын
@@forkliftgeek10Thanks for your reply, we did replace with the metal case OEM cam and crank sensors. Still no spark and no fuel. Fuel pressure to the injector is 5psi, but the injector only pulses one time while cranking. I can’t for the life of me figure out why the ECM is not sending spark to the coils or fuel to the injector?
