Those Mazda 2.2's are notorious for jumping time or the timing belt breaking. I've had to replace timing belts in several of those engines.

You are an excellent technician! I’m hoping you can help. I have a Nissan with the k21 engine. It stalled out one day and wouldn’t start. Next day it started and ran fine. Next day no start and hasn’t started since. We replaced both cam and crank sensors, replaced the vaporizer, and fuel injector. Still won’t start, cranks even and strong but won’t start. Checked for spark and has no spark to all cylinders. Coils have power going to them. Even tried a new coil and no spark. The fuel injector only pulses once so it’s not constantly injecting. We have good compression in all four cylinders. Replace the ECM and still won’t start. What should I check next? Thanks for any help!!! Also, coolant and oil levels are full. Power and ground to the ECM are good. Wire harness to the cam and crank sensors is good.

I need help! I just bought a hyster S30A lift with the continental flat head 4 cyl I’m trying to get it to crank over but I’m having an issue when I put the key in the ignition and turn it one click a dash light comes on and it beeps at me and won’t crank (watch the short on my channel it shows what it’s doing) I’m totally in over my head I’m not familiar with fork lifts any tips would be much appreciated

Raymond no longer offers a replacement for that stem harness that’s all chopped up. As dealers, we have to replace the entire tractor harness and change the relay card and software. The good news is, after that, it’s a $60 harness and one connector to replace the encoder/temp/brake harness instead of dealing with that one your repairing for the 52nd time. We are not allowed to repair wires like that. Labor is $190 per hour, so getting a call 4 months later to repair another broken soldered wire isn’t cool.

Try again, what is a power ram on the side of a impco c250a vaporizer. I know that it is controlled by a vacuum line to the manifold. I assume that it has nothing to do with stopping flow through the regulator. That is the lockoff job. There is no stop valve within this regulator , It just flows through.

I’d have used flashware to see the switch wasn’t reporting in the software, then used a continuity test from the sensor connector to the controller. Drives me crazy when the light works on the sensor, but the sensor doesn’t actually work lol. Was the bad wire around the brake drum or somewhere else?

Just swap the channel A and channel be wires on the sensor side. Truck stays oem, sensor now works ( with a non-oem wired sensor ). That’s a great catch though. Where the heck in the world are you to see that?

What about the crank sensor what role does it play here? Normally the crank is the one that provides the RPM signal.

If anyone still has the error code after trying this, i figured out what the issue is. There are 2 bushings on the bar that get worn out and prevents it from making contact to the switches when turning.
