The couples in their element, calming, nothing tp face them when in on the farms, structured family, purposeful and not chewing more than they could bite. Impressive family.

Menkenzie I continue to say your.videos are amazing I like how you show the positive side of Kenya the lovely self reliant people, it looks like you need to add the floating component to your safari.van🙂, enjoyed seeing the swamp at least its clear not like in Fla or Lousiana whic havr trees and you can't see if there is an alligator or snakes, your children are learning so much, and seeing the.value of hardwork and nothing is.for free seeing their dad doing things himself even if he has workers is a good example.when you said weeding I remember my grandparents had people whose job was just to weed which I thought was easy until I tried it myself thanks for sharing

Just a thought. The ladies whom you guys were helping get electricity one thing they have is land. But am sure the land is used for subsistence growing mainly growing maize, beans , veges for their consumption and the extra they have they probably sell in the markets. But to empower them from a subsistence living why not encourage them to grow coffee and you can partner with them. They grow the coffee and you can buy the coffee at a fair price. This would also help your business as it grows, since buying land is expensive partnering with these ladies who already have land would be the best option. You can also encourage them to keeping bees to diversify their incomes and buy from them. Bee Keeping is relatively easy that requires little labor The first millionaires in Kenya were coffee farmers during the 70's and 80's when coffee hit the world markets as a tradeable commodity. Today coffee is the second most traded commodity after oil. Then seeing how lucrative the coffee business was; multinational corporations came in and controlled the entire value chain. So those who made money were not the farmers but brokers, middlemen, auctioneers, and corporates. Farmers could only sell their coffee at the auction to selected buyers at a price determined by the buyer. Farmers had no clue about world prices or how auctions worked. From their meager pay from coffee sales, Coffee farming became a burden and farmers became disillusioned and abandoned the crop. Kenya used to produce 300,000 tones of coffee then, today it plummeted to 50,000 tones. But the good news is this is now changing. The govt is determined to return coffee back to its glory days with farmers as the central focus. Then you could not sell coffee directly to a buyer like you can do today. Some Kenyans have seen an opportunity in this change and in fact, there is a Kenyan lady in Germany after seeing the price of a cup of coffee in Germany decided to empower farmers in her rural home. She buys coffee directly from small-scale farmers from her home area in Nyeri and she pays them a Guaranteed fair price no matter the market conditions. The farmers lives have made a complete turnaround. No middlemen, no brokers, no auctions just selling their coffee directly to a buyer has changed their fortunes. Hopefully, you guys can do the same for those ladies because even if they get electricity it still has to be paid for, and considering Kenya power is inconsistent and the habit of price gauging; the ladies may not be able to pay their bills from their meager incomes and electricity becomes a burden. But if they can have a sustainable income like coffee this would not be an issue. You can watch the lady in Germany on KZbin "Chams Media" and another coffee series on KZbin by a lady called "Lynn Ngugi" who interviews a coffee farmer who illuminates how profitable coffee farming can be if done right literally worth billions. Just a fun fact at the recent coffee auction in Nairobi, a 50kg bag of grade AA coffee was sold at $500. But farmers never used to know this information. So imagine how much money they were living at the table. There is no other crop that sells at such a price per 50kg bag. So coffee is literally Kenya's Gold. Go for it.

MeKenze everything is growing nicely and quickly. I always look at the growth of the hedges you planted in the front of your home on each vlog. I remember the vlog when you first planted it all. Now everything is so full, green and beautiful. I love your vlogs because they remind me of my childhood before we had paved roads and all the development. Everyday seem to have been an adventure back then. You and George are giving your children a grand childhood and growing up process. They will have great memories! Your prosperity in Kenya will continue to increase. Abundance is your portion! Mungu akubariki 💜🥰🙏🏾🫶🏾🌺🙋🏾‍♀️

Maybe you need to invest in a 4x4 high vehicle like an SUV...maybe have that instead of a sedan...we do that in Jamaica....the rainy season causes many heavily flooded roads with lots of potholes .. we live in a rural area, so we have a double cab truck and a minivan for when the entire family with visiting ppl are going out...(more than 5)..the truck does all the heavy duty stuff. Building materials, furniture, etc etc
