Sure fire rose isn’t a plant I like , but that’s the only one . All other plants are so healthy and gorgeous. Laura on Garden Answers love sure fire Rose . I think it reminds me of council gardens bad flower beds we had in the 70s . I just bought a DA Bathsheba Rose . Omg the begonia hanging basket is awesome, those colours . I will be trying that next year. My generous gardener blooms turn white in sun on my Arbour , I’m south coast England. Verbena is leggy to get to the sun ☀️ maybe as lots of foliage from Petunia. ❤ Not a fan on Lilys till I saw your ones . That’s so funny I have Malvern Hills Woolerton Old Hall and Tottering by Gently. I adore your Hydrangeas, mine have powdery mildew 😢.

Just love you two! If you haven’t shared this info already, is it possible to do a video on the order in which you planted things or ideas on how to plant in layers? For instance, did you build/start your garden by planting left to right or right to left, etc? How did you know how to plant in the manner in which you did? I hope my question makes sense! Your garden is so just beautiful and the layering of plants is just chefs kiss!

The garden is looking gorgeous! Your Weewhite Hydrangea near the front porch are most likely drying out and heat stressed due to the placement. The driveway pavement and full sun will over heat them and dry them out fast, causing the blooms to brown.
@growformegardening6 ай бұрын
They are four years old and this is the first time we have encountered the issue. This summer has been much hotter than the past
@juliepardo77676 ай бұрын
@@growformegardening Check the soil around it, go down at least 6-8 inches and see if the drip is reaching down that far. Being four years old, the root system is mature, deep and expansive. The heat from the pavement(especially during extreme temperatures), full sun, plus the competition from the plants around it will effect how much water the hydrangea is able to absorb, and it will effect the blooms. Also, making sure not to fertilize during extreme heat is very important, too much stress on the plant. Sorry to sound like such a bossy pants. I just wanted to help and pass along information that I learned over the years with similar issues from my gardens.
@growformegardening6 ай бұрын

Hi guys! I have a question for you .. I came across a Shiloh Splash River Birch this spring, and purchased it after seeing how beautiful yours is. Can you please tell me the location of your placement (what side of your house it is on/ sun exposure), and it's water set-up (drip, sprinkler head, etc). Mine is on the NE corner of my two-story home, getting afternoon sun until late evening when it gets shade from our shop, and is getting water spray from that garden's sprinkler head. It doesn't look happy. I assume it either wants more shade or water. (I am in zone 6, Eastern WA) Thank you so much for your help!! Have fun with your Garden Tour!! Everything looks gorgeous!!!

How will visitors to your garden know what varieties of plants you have? I haven't noticed any plant tags showing in your yard - you know the names by heart. It will be exhausting to run around telling them during the Walk. We've been in 3 Garden Walks and found it most helpful to draw up a 'schematic' of our property with the names all filled in. We posted these on the Garage doors so visitors can readily find the. plant names & variety.
