quick note on "Princess Adventures" -basically there was no plan for a "Yanxi Palace" sequel in the first place -"Princess Adventures" was basically rejected clips on the cutting floor that somehow survived Yuzheng's vetting process when he saw "Yanxi"'s popularity -context of above: what constituted "Princess Adventures" was basically scenes shot alongside the main drama, and this is explained by Yuzheng's Weibo bts posts of Raine Wang (7th princess), Wang Yuwei (Borjigin Lhawangdorji), & Wang Yizhe (Fuca Fukkan'gan) in costume alongside the main drama bts posts

The story of yanxi palace: princess adventures has only about six episodes right? You will be done with it fast. The Double,YASSSSS,I loved it. I heard of Wu Jinyan getting married to the guy(i forget his name) as I was watching The Legend Of Hao Lan so i was like Lol,when you forget that where you have seen them,they were just working,it was just fictional characters, behind that, they're completely different people, its funny. I just finished Kill Me Love Me. After The Double, please do Princess Weiyoung. I haven't murdered anyone and buried them in my backyard yet because it is apparently illegal to do so and you may get in trouble for it later if you get caught and I'm a coward so... Life has been the same,slow and boring.

The Double is sooo good!!!! It's the best drama Jinyan is in after Yanxi Palace, cus everything before that she received a lot of negative comments on her acting, took a hiatus to improve herself, and she's back with The Double! and the improvement definitely shows! Not just that but the cinematography and script was also good, which helped a lot (the next drama she starred in, Kill Me Love Me had a very disappointing script, imo and I think you'd agree, but Liu Xue Yi was worth the stay hehe)

Have you finished watching Kill Me Love Me? I hear people say the ending is disappointing. Actually, some people are disappointed with how the story went after...SPOILER ALERT in case you haven't reached that part yet... the crown prince died. If you have finished,did you like the ending? I skipped some parts and went to watch the last few minutes of the last episode,it didn't seem so bad to me. I will go back and finish the last two episodes when i have time.

@ I finished the show to me ending was beautiful… SPOILER ALERT for others please don’t scroll if u havent watched the show They both were on a journey of revenge but I think because the main villain was taken away so early people loss a reason (I will admit the second leads storyline was stupid 🤦‍♀️I did fast forward through his scenes)to watch and thought it was boring but it wasn’t just about the crown prince.. Jinghe was always about the people so he was going to have to do something involving the common folks and to find a way to make peace with them. With Mei Lin it’s her people and based on the title of the show she’s going to die so I mean that’s a given. To me it was beautifully filmed and also showed how greed and ambition always has price that involves innocent people and that blind hate and revenge will cost you the thing you love most.. that was my take on it

It really needs to be watched twice through, the first time I totally missed Siwan's... behavior... and was like "wow, that poor girl." Gamer too, still obsessively working on my Forbidden CIty build in Minecraft (under the channel SlyPaladin) if y'all want to see how it's going. Would LOVE feedback. OMG I hate those "Cinderella" things, especially when they go and put thumbnails that have nothing to do with the videos! There's another 3L3W series that's fun/cute. Despite my wants for story of minglan recap i honestly have no problem with waiting I mean you do all the work not me it must be exhausting I barely make through presentations The copyrights is probably because the double is still fresh compared to other drama you did recap for I mean zhen huan was years and the rest were six years ago(wait that long 🥲) so maybe you should wait longer if you're worried Unrelated did you watch rise of phoenixes or scarlet heart(chinese version) I watch the first but not the second thanks to all the warning of angst If you watch action cdrama I recommend the longest day in chang'an it's historical drama with an old mc but the work they did on is amazing the costume the characters the plot the angst not to mention action scenes in Asian historical drama with no slow moooo or I believe I could fly

My girl do a story of minglan and my life is yours 😢🥺 Anyway let's be real here I haven't the double since it came this year also still didn't finish my current dramas thanks to college 🙃 even when you have a short vacation with free time it's easier watch short videos and flip through phone rather than hour long episode on laptop so you could have time to sleep and spend family time 😂 if you want a drama with yanxi vibes love like the galaxy is what you need mc who doesn't take bullying down and balance between comedy and angst etc and happy ending since the mc ended up with who she wanted to be with If want a drama with ruyi vibes watch story of minglan it had the same worldbuilding ruyi had not to mention the dedication to the writing and it has everything you wanted in ruyi specifically the mc she's a scary schemer 😂

@ycbgmt I think it's the cover and yeah the first episodes are kinda hard to watch for someone who's not chinese or not knowledgeable about chinese culture since this drama stick very well to traditions and rules someone who I tried to watch the drama and was like "wait who's the wife exactly😀" or "what the big deal about this wedding gifts" "I still don't know what is going on" so yeah the drama is amazing but just like ruyi and zhen huan it needs patience but I promise you the fl is amazing and the ml raised my standards with all the mls in Asian dramas

Its just that stories like Ruyi's Royal Love In The Palace depress me,I could never rewatch the entire series. If it had a happy ending I would power through the heartbreak but ah. I have always loved Zhao Liying dramas but I still can't watch the story of minglan or the journey of a flower but once I have data,I will watch the story of minglan.

@@ycbgmt when I said it's similar to ruyi I meant by the realistic world setting there are traditions and rules hard life for girls with no backer even in good family and how reputation is very important but the ending is very happy and the drama is not near the depression ruyi has in fact I don't consider it angsty drama more like slice of life in the song dynasty with women shenanigans
