I remember at LAN way back during cod4, we noticed some guy had max dpi settings and were wondering how he even plays like that. Then some guy came and pushed insert and a menu popped up. The two shot at first I was going to say could be discord lag or something, but yeah really sus. I didnt know you could macro to avoid recoil and animation cancel on bolt

Macroing to avoid recoil is a HUGE issue with a lot of streamers for FPS games. ‘Cronus max’ has been a massive issue for years and you’ll even get streamers who admit to using it and claim that it’s somehow not cheating. The state of cheating in FPS games is a massive issue and companies as well as engine developers need to start doing a lot more work with eachother to combat it.

As a person who uses mod menus it's a glitch in the coding, a single bullet can register multiple times when using aimbot. Ex. Dayz aimbot can hit 6 times with a single bullet

I stopped playing when multiple people I brought to the game started cheating after they got experience with the game. I figured they'd enjoy the game but when the cheater issue became a bit more rampant, they joined in. I stopped playing.

for the double shot thing, i feel like it might've been just a weird hit reg thing where the place he shot went through the shoulder before also going through the head, maybe a blood splatter for each penetrated limb?

I can press button on my mouse so it clicks double/triple times with about 1ms delay. I can turn any semi weapon on full auto with that, but it still behaves way different. Also a lot of times i die to a sus player im double, sometimes triple tapped to head.

Pretty sure people used to make a macro binded with LMB so it double clips for each one click. not sure how that'd work with a bolt action tho. It was pretty popular with semi auto users, but has been frowned upon forever.

fragments are definitely still in the game, ive shot one bullet hit the target and at end of raid screen had multiple hits. this has happened multiple times this wipe

The double tap with semi auto weapon is inconclusive at best, but it is a little bit similar to the very suspicious double shot from the bolty which raises serious red flags. I have never heard of any bug relating to that.

we can probably test out this theory, but it might be that you see double blood spatter due to two head hitboxes triggering. so it could be a bug. that wouldn't surprise me at all. i mean that guy is obviously cheating, but that one thing could be possibly explained

Double shooting a bolt action is 100% confirmation. If it were a semi/auto weapon you could maybe say it was a lag, but that game stutter isn't there in the clip.

i assume you dont know how the netcode works... even a sniper rifle can happen to shoot twice without chambering a new bullet. depends on the game and how its coded, when the ammunition value is serversided and as you said the game laggs, the server wont even realize you shot and your gun stays chambered. question is, does your gun shoot twice without chambering a new bullet on the enemies POV too? which even then could be a bug how the server handles the lagg.. so nah, its not 100% proof he cheated just because its a sniper rifle.

Cheating in general is rampant in all games tarkov is a much smaller community so when majority of the player base calls them out it shows jsut how bad the situation is. Go look at statistics for counter strike or cod and they are relatively similar when scaled

@nicholasbreecher9315 I would think that is possibly the difference between client side and server side. Just like the cheats that allow people to aim of of the server side the server has to try to correct shots and desync is part of that.

the one guy in the chat maybe answered this already. "...logitech double click malfunction" like 6 years ago ive got banned in the game "APB Reloaded" because my mouse had a malfunction, out of 10 clicks 2 would malfunction and click twice. really annoying when in windows (example minimizing a window and it will maximize on its on again through the double click) but for the game ive played it helped me most of the semi-auto guns shot twice, there was also a sniper rifle with burst fire (3 shots) since my mouse malfunctioned the burst came out with 6 shots, recoil was the same and fire-rate doubled since the 2nd burst of shots didnt had any delay, the bullets left the barrel same timeframe as the first burst fire. so 6 shots in the same time others only shoot 3 bullets. (luckly after explaining to their support what has happened and buying a new mouse i got unbanned)

I'm not the best player but not the worst player either but me and my mate have 7-8 out of 10 rounds of 1 tap every day and the rest without a PMC encounter. I've been playing EFT for years and now the time has come that I've uninstalled it for myself Unfortunately it has become unplayable because everyone only taps once (don't say that everyone is a cheater)
