I grew up on the low end and ate Italian Fiesta almost every wknd. But the best pizza in Chicago is Milano's on 109th and Western in Beverly. Trust me!

What?! Italian Fiesta? You know, I have to keep reminding myself that you all grew up eating Italian Fiesta and you're use to it. That pizza is greasy and nasty.. I was raised on this particular Home Run Inn location back in the 70's. This area use to be somewhat bad. Some times the gangs use to rob people and throw bricks & beer bottles. Especially at blacks. These individuals use to be sitting in the park across the street watching people. And also, they use to rob people at Home Run Inn second parking lot. This location use to have a sports bar downstairs and a family section upstairs with video games for the children. We use to eat here and go to the Drive-in movie theater just West on 31st street at the overpass. But Home Run Inn doesn't taste the same like how they use to be. It taste manufactured now. But this what happens when they went commercial and started franchising. Just like Portillo's.
