Thanks for this interesting piece of automotive history. Long ago I owned a 1972 “pre-L” Pantera in the same yellow color, except my hood and rear deck were painted in black, as well as the rocker panels up to the door crease. The built motor produced 550hp and thus the car was a ground-shaking beast. My license plate read….NAASTEE 😅

Jay Leno had Elvis's ranch truck and had Blake Shelton drive it in LA. During the drive Leno talked about and had a picture of driving the Elvis Pantera. He talked about the shooting and during the time he had the car Leno accidently backed the Pantera into a wall. You can find it on Jay Leno's Garage.

The classic Mini used the wheel well to put the radiator sideways, mad idea, but it worked. They could have put twin radiators in each rear wheel well. AND kept that sleek body, unlike the Countach which is tactically sexy, but doesn't compare to the sleek lines of the Miura or the Pantera.
