Wavelet Audio knock us back to the dark ages with a toolkit full of amazingly sampled instruments, percussion, and performances. Whether you are looking to score an entire cue or inject edge into a song, Groth is packed with a diverse range of patches from ethnic with a modern edge to cinematic trailer impacts and percussion.
Groth normally sells for $259 from Wavelet Audio - bit.ly/3nS8JXy
At the time of posting Groth was on a special introductory price of $199.

These are highly original sounds in my experience. Love the orchestral effects, Luisa legato and "synths" - And the mod wheel velocity for percussion is definitely a standout. Thanks for the great review! - This one is very high on my list!

The sequence on the drums and percussions is very different and I really like what you can do with it. Thank you for this review.

I really like the detail you went into here; though of course you couldn't go into everything! Fortunately, a lot was covered in the official developer walkthrough too, as you mentioned and you did a great job rounding that out with your observations. My thoughts are 1. this has a really good tagelharpa, which I really want; 2. the sound design is excellent but the percussion probably isn't able to sound natural (cinematic, though); 3. the engine (or engines) are fantastic - that sequencer for the percussion is tremendous and I'd love it as an independent plugin, the timing for the samples is so helpful, and the scope for shaping their tone and so on are brilliant; 4. I know I want it, but as the tagelharpa is the most desirable element to me, I also think I might do better to step out of the box and put the money towards a real tagelharpa (you can get them with inbuilt pickups, or add an acoustic guitar pickup, to make recording much easier; and they aren't big). It is certainly well designed and good value. Decisions, decisions... But thank you so much for providing so much useful data for us all.

Hey BF you are very welcome and thanks for sharing all your thoughts with us. Let us know if you get your own tagelharpa… I’m out of room for acoustic instrument for now :)🚌

Hi, question between Groth and Damage the first one witch one should i get for drums? Its about the same price.

Damage has much more to choose from and more versatile. Groth is more specialised and not many patches… just the ones you need for Viking/Witcher/Dark Ages stuff.
