Several years ago, I was at a Mattel outlet store in California, they had damaged unopened Hot Wheels cases, sold at a discount. You had to take a chance, and buy them not knowing the condition! 😎✌

I went to my dollar tree this morning here in socal first j case they had. Found one supra and two treasure hunts and two custom eg civics I wonder if the employees might have got the super.i even showed up earlier lmao

Just hit the big J case drop at a Dollar Tree in PA today too...they also had a FULL endcap besides the regular toy aisle pegs...lots of Supras but no TH or Super, I was late....they are missing some flat grey Kombis now tho 😂

I’m a manager at a dollar tree ever since I have worked there I have opened 100s of cases of hot wheels all factory boxes found 30-50 supes I have never opened a matchbox factory case they are repacked into a dollar tree box and I have never ever seen a single chase not a one someone at the distribution center has a hell of a collection of matchbox chases and if wondering I don’t collect so yes the supes get but on the pegs it tickles me when people find them it makes my day

@@huntinghotwheelsinternatio9594 sir I have asked that question to many higher ups for the dollar tree when they do they’re tours and I can’t get a direct answer I’ve heard they can break a case down and send one case to two different stores if that was the case they would do hot wheels like that too when supply is low I really can’t answer that but it really bothers me I try to give everyone that comes to my store a shot at getting the supes and regular hunts and I have some older gentleman that like matchbox and they don’t even stop by anymore because it’s a waste of time to get the super chases

That is a tactic, but I’ve never seen the gold edition McQueen so I don’t know what it should have cost and it’s California, everything is more expensive there.
