I would be so broke if I lived near a Mattel store. Some of those prices are almost free compared to what they are in Canada, and I could never resist a good deal. I hope I can visit there some day, just for the experience.

Every time i hear El Segundo, i think about the A Tribe Called Quest song “I Left My Wallet In El Segundo”. For some reason, i always thought that El Segundo was a wasteland where people would loose things and wake up with a hangover. 😂

In the 90’s when I interned at Mattel, they used to let Mattel employees in the storage room and let us pick out stuff to buy before they put it on the floor. When I got hired in the 2000’s they would open up the store early for employees only on Fridays. I don’t even know why they bothered to give me a paycheck. It all went back to them anyway-Lol!
