Checking Out SITALA 2 Update - Not free, is it worth it?

Decomposer have updated their Sitala drum sampler with full Apple Silicon support, dark mode, 4x4 grid layout and new kits. This is a paid update, for $20 USD. Sitala v1 is still available for free.

You can also drag and drop a drum loop sample and it will detect it and ask if you want to slice it. Click yeas and it will slice the sample and spread it across the 16 pads.

Wow, literally found out about Sitala 1 yesterday, or the day before that. Talked w a friend about using your own drum recordings in some kind of sampler and I told him this sounded like something somebody already made. Lo and behold, now there's a bigger version out⭐⭐

On the note and track names, Reaper has an extension to the VST standard that lets us detect when we're inside of Reaper, and do some Reaper-specific stuff. We able to access the tracks and note names directly there, which is how we get Reaper to track the sample names from inside of Sitala.

This is great - a really nice use of that extension. Thanks to you for a great product and to Jon for telling me it exists! I echo the point about an option for it to scale to the plugin window size.. would be great for touchscreen laptops. But I wasn't sure if that's something REAPER end has to support or if it's down to individual UI of a plugin. I'd happily pay another $20 for that functionality in Sitala3 :D

Just grabbed this the other day, so cool! ;D I spent a bit of time in Ableton and being a newbie having Sitala being similar to Drumrack is helpful as Reaper is incredible, I learned enough from Ableton to use Reaper more confidently as it's vast but having some familiarity in function with what I've been using....

The new Sitala 2.0 allows you to change the layout 4x4 back to the original layout 16x1. You're missing out!
