how does this compare to drum computer from sugar bytes? they are both deep drum synths. I already own drum computer (which has a pretty amazing sequencer and auto fill feature built in.) but this is on sale in a bundle with needle point for $99 right now so i was looking at it

That middle section with your FX plugins, how did you enable that to be viewed? Aka where you can click on a plugin and it shows up with it's GUI?

I know you're just being cheeky, but I hope you don't underestimate the value of these update videos to us! They've been an essential part of my reaper journey for as long as you've been making them and are the reason I've remained a Patreon supporter for like 7 years. (Something everyone who watches these each update should consider *nudge* *nudge*) Thanks for another one!

Extra Happy New Year, Jon!!! WOOOHHHWWWAAA!!! That's a dream coming true! I was using Audacity to normalize tons of drum sounds here... Pheeeeww!!!!!! Lets play with Reaper on this...!!!!!!!!! Still missing an intelligent way to organize plugins and an automatic way to visualize plugins GUI images without 3 hours working to get a couple of them... (almost like Studio One).

@TheREAPERBlog6 күн бұрын
Don't know for sure. I think there was a prototype around v5 beta, but was soon scrapped. Reaticulate has come a long way since then and is generally well liked.

What is the best video you have to get started with reaper and the new version?
@TheREAPERBlog6 күн бұрын
for getting started my "Fresh Start" series. Even though that is for reaper 6. Then the Reaper 7 FAQ and 7.0 update video. Some of the menu/settings things have been moved around since then but as long as you search by name in the settings you'll find the options.

I left Reaper because they refused to listen to some users for years.....and implement post faster inserts on channels.... (Trying to explain away why you "don't really need it". If I didn't really need it I once had switched away from Reaper for it!) Acting like they have the best routing and just overlooking something so basic as that. It really sucks. I was just really starting to get comfortable with it.

i mostly only read the Midi updates and breifly scan my eyes over the rest to see if anything imporant happens.. one thing i dislike still is adding and removing points in automation.. i think i could design it better honestly but it's not my software, i find there's some things missing from automation editing that would make it better.
