Yeah especially if this is a copart yard, you are not supposed to touch cars that are not yours. They are all on the auction block listed as running/driving/etc. and have been inspected. Mostly all of them have sat in an insurance lot for 4-5 months, and then sat at copart for another 3-9 months - so the gas is stale and congealed, the batteries are dead, and the fuel lines are full of air and condensation. Cars that look clean were usually joyridden and the engine has been nearly destroyed - same with insurance fraud cars.

Even if most of these cars are only there for parts, closing the windows DOES HELP. If someone wants McLaren bucket/leather seats? They probably wont buy them anymore from here seen as the seats are completely soaked or worse. And that counts for all the other cars as well... Interior (and even exterior parts) hold up better when the parts that can close, are closed (like wings, trunks, etc). What a shitty way to run a business.

You think a lambo is going to let you over rev it? Cars computer is way to smart. My 2007 honda civic has a built in rev limiter. Yeah its not good to rev or drive hard with a cold started vehicle, but thats not called over revving. And a car as sophisticated as a lamborghini wouldnt let you over rev it, it would just hit its rev limit setting and cut fuel/timing until it hits its recover limit.

Mainly because they auction and profit from it once they find the owners or lenders. You can bid but they do bids by the lot meaning it's like 5 to 10 cars together at a time and you dont know what you're getting till you take ownership of the winning bid.

Nick300zxred2t I couldn't tell you off hand as it's all depending on what's in demand at the moment. I can tell you that $1 US is about $3.50 to $3.65 Dirham there. They use BMW 740's and 750's how we use Nissans and Toyotas, lol.

I think what happened to the aventador is that the engine is sounding like a v6 because the fuel injection coyld be frozen or damaged also i can hear other sounds from the belts and other things also you see that the rev limiter is lowered to 4k you NEVER over rev a car thats been sitting like that specifically when you hear its running on 6 out of 12 cyls...remember you can feel the car talking to you if you are a real car guy...normal people just hear noice but we car people can hear their pain...its on our blood
