I am pretty much going with the Ample Bass Upright... just have a question about its the key range: in the Ample bass manual says it goes down up to B0, but normally uprights are tuned with E1 as the lower note. What´s the lowest I could go with the ample bass upright? I was also surprised to see that in EW Hollywood strings the basses go down to C0, which certainly confused me even more... But yeah, mainly hoping to make sure whats the lowest note in the Ample bass before I buy

I can only review what I have.. and there’s always more libraries. I did however did a separate review on Mojo

Mellow is my go-to bass because of the timbre; on the other hand, it lacks some nice features found in Ample Bass and Bass Upright. Maybe in the future, a new Mellow update can put it at the top position.

For reallty realistic articulations I think Ample is the one but I also like the new NI session bassist but it does need some tweaking to the get sound right
