A shot of rain would help a lot right now. Hot and dry is almost as bad as cold and wet.

Do you side or top dress then with 28% and P&K
@Mad_Farmer912Ай бұрын
I've never used 28%, because I don't have equipment for liquid fertilizer and the local ag center doesn't have equipment for 36 inch rows. I just broadcast dry fertilizer. Depending on price and availability I usually use 19-19-19, urea, or 10-20-20.

I just wish they would stick to a forecast. They kept saying pop-up showers so I haven't cut. What has popped up has missed us then they changed the forecast to be good.

What's up with that skid steer sitting their with the boom up!?

Last spring it was super muddy around my silo bags. Some issues developed and I made them worse running it too long. One axel bearing went out and continuing running it ruined the axle housing. Another axles bearings out but is fixable. Mud filled the engine bay and hopefully its a lower radiator hose but the radiator may be jacked. Just don't have the money yet to fix so I haven't really looked at it since I parked it.

@@Mad_Farmer912 sounds like you will be sticking quite a little money on that one too get it going then

@@bryanginder5903 biggest thing will be an axle housing. I had to replace one maybe 10 years ago and it was the whole complete assembly axle, housing, and all was $1300. I'd hate to guess the price now. I just have to locate a used one. To rebuild the other with bearing and seals is about $120.
