Looked to me like Niemann tried to walk off, still fairly collected, but without finishing the ceremony of placing the Kings in the center of the board to show the result, and Magnus placed Niemann's King in the center for him quite forcefully, perhaps not out of anger but just in an aggressive kind of victory fanfare, and then Niemann lightly bumped an arbiter while trying to get past him, who then pressed up so slightly against So, as there was not much room for standing around with all those cameras in the playing area, and then another arbiter went to go tap Niemann on the shoulder because he needed to say something to him. So really a whole lot of nothing! No need for all that drama from the announcers at the end. The game was dramatic enough!

people forget that Magnus The Goat Carlsen is 34 against someone who is 21, in lightning games. Magnus The Goat Carlsen slammed the king hard because he wanted to point out that "I AM THE STRONGEST IN THE WORLD!" In all cadences.....almost.

Who else can bring about such an edge of the seat game for the spectators and the commentators where the result means life or death for Carlsen playing ‘fast and furious’ in severe time trouble still teaching his over confident opponent a masterful lesson. 👍
