I myself had the honour to train under GM Chee's Student my late Sifu; Kim Wai Han and even though I started in the early Naughties! I was told about GM Chee's great contributions and skills. He definitely was a Shaolin Kung Fu Legend, highly revered and dynamic Kung Fu master.
