This song brought my father back to Christ.. he was dealing with a lot in 1996 and the would get upset if I played gospel music in the car! He heard this song one day on the way home from work and he went and bought the tape. He recommitted his life to God that year and never looked back! I get so emotional every time I hear because I know it saved my dad! Thank you for posting this you never know who you may be helping, God Bless You.

"...count it all joy..." I have heard that over and over throughout the course of my thus far short life because I have forever been going through this kind of hell or the other kind. It started when my biological 'father' left my mother when I was five along with my other four siblings in a house that he knew that we were going to lose (which we did) and now after being blessed with a new father some years ago we are homeless and have been this way for nine months with no way of getting out of here but through God alone, but as He has delivered us from all else, He will deliver us from this as well. I can feel our turmoil coming to an end.

I found Commissioned my first year in college 1989. A friend had the cassette with "Running Back To You" on it and it made me understand myself and my journey with God more clearer than any church sermon or scripture I ever read. Oh my my my! This song by the Commissioned was my rock in the year 2002. I was not in a happy place even though I was in a loving relationship with my present husband. We weren't married then. I'd just lost my job, I hated the city we lived in, and I would be turning 40 that April 27th. I had the blues! I would play this CD over and over, until I felt better. And I always would feel better by the 2nd play. It gave me hope!

This song also helped me to get closer to God when I moved back to San Diego in 1996. I think this CD came out in 97 and my now ex wife had joined a wonderful church and my son had just been born. I had the privilege of opening for original Commision @ Rochester U in the 80s. I was leading a group 'Levite'. My whole group was a no show and I had to do the whole opening alone.
