From what I've read and heard and from my own experience, feral animals feel less threatened when you talk. Body language may also be understood by species that use it. I'm curious to know what Simon and the rest of the team can tell us about this.

Fan from the USA. I admire how quickly you captured that fox! He didn't seem perturbed at all, just a little fuss. I'm glad it wasn't a matter of illness, just being in the wrong place. Watching them being released in their own backyards is the biggest highlight. Thank you.

Don't worry, Simon has several pairs of shoes for rescue work! We tend to use older pairs as they are often damaged or soaked during our rescue work :)

I did have a run in with a small grey fox here in Connecticut, i was out on the street looking through my telescope when one came trotting right up to me sniffed me i made the mistake of moving my head to see what cat it was because they always come for treats when i moved he loked at me and started walking away, not much faster than when he walked up to me
