At least half of this team is on senior elite, coed elite, ladies of teal, junior coed elite, or youth elite. And of those athletes, most have been level 5 since their youth days. They deserved the win, but only because 80% of the team is elite level 5 material.

Whether if they were level 1, 4, or 5. These kids worked hard. I am sure 99% of the people making negative comments can't even do a forward roll. Rules were not broken and I am sure worked very hard. Congratulate them... carry on.

Isn't most of this team level 5? How is that fair to the other level 5 teams? Why didn't they just take their actual level 5 teams and just compete with people in their own league?

You are Around to put level 5 athletes into a lower level as long as you do the required tumbling and stunting requirements lot of gyms do crossovers so technically it's fair. Plus their athletes have been missing a lot of school due to competitions so decided to only send a few teams C4 being one of them. they only had two levels 5 teams go to NCA Cougars and SSX

i could literally watch this performance all day its so good i dont care that they have lots of crossovers because at the end of the day all the teams are doing level 4 skills any gym could put kids with level 5 skills on a level 4 team its not like there doing anything thats not legal

It's absolutely ridiculous that they stacked this team with Holden Ray? This man can do whip double whip double and you have him doing layouts just to win a NCA title? Meanwhile the LEVEL 5 team that he's supposed to be on Coed Elite) decided it wasn't "worth it" to go. AKA THEY WOULD'VE lost. I feel bad for the other teams that had to go against this stacked team. Now I know c4 is good and could've won anyways, but Holden shouldn't be there

I think one of the reasons that C4 went and not any other Kernersville team did was because of the Triple Crown title that they were going for.. I could be wrong, but to me, it would make sense.

For all the people saying it's unfair that like half the team are level 5 athletes, why does it matter. What if these athletes want to compete in a fun routine with less stress. Plus in my opinion the only difference between the different levels is the difficulty not the cleanness of the effort. A level 1,2,3 or 4 athlete should be just as clean as a level 5 athlete.

+MissGGxox It may be fun for them, but it truly sucks for all of the actual level 4 athletes on teams that lost to this team. Its much easier to do level 4 skills cleanly when you've been performing level 5 skills for 3 plus years.

This is the biggest disgrace ever. I competed against them this weekend and was robbed of the last possibility to win NCA because the skill level they have, no level 4 team does. We have to try to do a one to tuck to two to lay, and they can whip double out of it. Courtney Smith Pope should be ashamed of herself for putting 18, yes, 18, level 5 athletes on a level 4 team.

They have to have a new tryout before summit because you can only have 5 crossovers from worlds to summit. They have to get rid of half their team.

They don't have to get rid of half of their team because the majority of the people on c4 are not worlds age eligible so there is no issue for them with crossovers for worlds except for maybe 3 athletes including Holden on c4 who are actually on a worlds team. All the flyers on c4 are also age 11 and under, so no problem for them either. CSP knows how to do things and she knows how to succeed.

Cheer Music You're right these kids are 11 and under and on Youth and junior level 5 teams, however, they are still learning and at such a young age they are perfecting simpler skills that make them even better. I see no problem in perfecting half ups and layouts as they strengthen tumbling and stunting. Not illegal last time I checked. As for other teams, if you can't fully compete level 4 skills then you shouldn't be in level 4 to begin with. If NCA, UCA, Summit and Cheersport had a problem with it, they would have made a rule against it. I don't see a big deal in competing one level down?

I’m happy for them but seriously!?! You cant put level 5 athletes in a level 4 division. Nearly all of the other teams would have only trained up to level 4 skills and wouldn’t be able to even compare to some of the athletes they’re going against. Keep level 5 athletes on level 5 teams who are at the same level as their competitors

Don't really understand CEA saying SE and CE didn't attend NCA because of travel and expenses, when I saw multiple athletes from those teams in this routine. Athletes that wouldn't have been able to compete with this team had SE and CE attended due to NCA's crossover rules. C4 are one of the most talented level 4 teams I've ever seen, but being from the KVille location with so so many skilled athletes available, why use level 5s?? Its unnecessary, and while technically legal, not super fair. Obviously they aren't the only team with crossovers, I just don't see why such a capable gym needs them. And the whole 'expenses' argument seems unusual seeing as they've competed at numerous interstate comps this season and the biggest competition in the world seems a weird choice to miss. Anyway, carry on, good luck to c4 for the remainder of the season.

Could it be that for each crossover you have to pay an additional fee? I have a niece who is on a senior level 4 team and a senior coed level 3 team and her parents have to shell out 2 competition fees each time she has a competition. The last comp was $160 for each team member so mom and dad had to pay $160x 2 smh.

Yes they are allowed to have cross overs, but in the end it is looked down upon when you have Holden ray plus many other level 5 kids. It doesn't look good.

+Cheer Extreme I also don't understand the issue with allowing kids to do a fun routine with a little less pressure they just enjoy. You're only as strong as your weakest member, this is a massive team of incredibly strong athletes, Holden's inclusion doesn't change that.

+Cheer Extreme Not trying to start anything but its not really about him. There are other teams in this division with true level 4 athletes/athletes that just moved up from level 3. The skills that he throw so easily is what they work on every day. it's not fair to them to have a team of people who compete level 5 going against them. This routine was amazing because a lot of the members could throw these skills in their sleep. It's cool that he wants to do this level and I get it, I'm just seeing it from the eyes of my athletes. Why try your hardest to compete a skill you just got when someone could do their skills without a second thought and have been for years.

+Meggan DeVeaux Cheerleading is supposed to be for kids to go have fun doing what they love. If a level 5 athlete wants to be in the gym everyday, crossovers provide him with the opportunity to be. CEA creates champion winning level 4 routines, regardless of who is performing them. Let kids compete on whatever team they want, why the hate??? Holden clearly loves cheerleading why strip him from the opportunity of being on multiple teams
