She was kneeling in one video and all you could see in the cleavage was her rib cage. As small as Diana was she had a shape. That Notoriously slinky black dress she wore was the talk of the town. I seriously doubt William made the statement without consulting his father. I agree that the tour was a success and that the media over exaggerated negative aspects. Same with the Andrew at the Memorial. The Royal Family will downsize due to attrition. Currently, all but 4 working members of the family are over the age of 70. By the time William is King, there will just be he, Queen Catherine and their children, maybe Edward and Sophie.

I thought Prince William’s statement was very astute. The old style Royal Tours are a bit incongruous in this day and age but the promise to be guided by the people of these countries will be well received both there and in the UK. Yes it must be trying for Prince Charles, his serious work having been overshadowed by his wife’s fashion choices. I think Prince William will be the same in the future. I think Prince Charles will do well as King, whatever other people say and don’t forget Our Queen, coming from a family of long lived women, may live till she is 100 then Charles until he is 100, so William may have a long time to wait before he is King, however popular he is.

Meghan never comes across as someone who is afraid to speak her mind. As someone who has been suicidal to the point of having to call lifeline to get through the toughest night, and then being on suicide watch, i know that anyone who wants help can get it. You don’t need your husband’s family to give you permission! Acting a victim and playing the suicide card is despicable if that is what she’s doing. Her pr team should be held to account for crafting this and the racism narrative because she started to be called out for her actions and character. It’s unacceptable.

Designers of Kate's foreign trip wardrobe should always comprise per day: 50%+ locally designed and produced clothes, 45%+ Commonwealth (inc UK) and the companies should be ethical employers etc. In addition, accessories worn should also be 50%+ locally produced - esp in Caribbean where jewellery is gorgeous, even from beach sellers. It's not too tricky to 'mix & match' different designers and co-ordinate via zoom meetings of Catherine + host country designers ... finished off perhaps with a trip to UK for the final fittings - for designer +/or their staff?! - IMO putting together different designers from the Commonwealth would visually demonstrate the ACTION of celebrating partnership. IMO action is 100x more powerful than 'I support you' chat/tweet. and it's SO powerful for local industries to be given a boost as Royal tours are there in order to a) boost the host country's image across the world b) bring attention to host country's charities and good works and c) hopefully strengthen the understanding between the powerful which will, God willing, help prevent arguments that end appallingly for average citizens (but none of the powerful).

Yes, the tour was a success because it went according to plan, but was tinted with protests, demand for republics and reparations. If the objective was to highlight the Queen's Jubilee celebrations, then it was overshadowed by these unexpected consequences that prompted the statement of having an elected head of the Commonwealth and the expression of sorrow for slavery by William. All said and going forward, it is good to know that protests, demand for republics and reparations, including surrendering of the headship of the Commonwealth for elections and the expression of sorrow for slavery are part of huge success. Are the people of the Caribbean celebrating the Queen's jubilee? If the RF cannot read the handwriting on the walls,then let it continue to play the ostrich. I do not think that Harry and Meghan are directly concerned with the Caribbean tours. Apparently, any discussion of the RF without people talking about H&M does not appear to be complete. Eventhough, H&M may be suitable for the Caribbean tours and Africa, particularly because of the multicultural and the multiracial nature of these countries, it is better to leave H&M out of the Caribbean tours by William and Kate Middleton.

Charles is so dowdy and boring that the spotlight simply cannot make anything shine - that is why. Charles is the negative aspect of the Monachy. He should step aside if he cares for longevity, but he won't as he cannot perceive the public's opinion. Another example of getting his own way all of the time. If the host country’s military asked for it they could have said no and suggested something more appropriate. Remember Harry during Oprah interview saying he thought that advisors around his Grandmother were giving very bad advice at times….I believe the same is likely true for the Prince of Wales and the Cambridges. I believe some opinion pieces on this Cambridge tour were spot on…..too much nostalgia and too little looking to the future.
