When Payton was talking about being frustrated because everyone else is doing all this work and she can't it brought back memories of not being able to to full outs and warm up my jumps and tumbling or almost anything last season. I was soooo frustrated, and when I get that frustrated, I cry my eyes out. It was horrible, and I know exactly how Payton feels.

to anyone who thinks like eddy pushes too hard, either you have never cheered or you have never been on a team that is a family. Because the beauty of cheer is that even when you're sick and hurt a lot of us don't want to sit out and don't want to take a break because with all the pain and shit is this pleasure that comes with being lined up in first formation with your best friends.

It makes me so happy to see the increase of African Americans this season. Representation in top tier programs & media is so important. Gabby & Simone revolutionized the goals of young black girls. So anytime I see black people reaching elite levels of fields is warms my heart❤️

This makes me think about how we were lucky if we could get a bad copy of someone's blurry, shaky, "always focused on their own kids" VHS tape of our competitions. Now virtually every single person in the crowd has the ability to film anything you do in zoomed HD and instantly edit it and share it with the world however they see fit. That is so cool and also SO SCARY!!! I'm so glad there was no social media when i was a cheerleader.

Your gonna do great, I know it. My first competition was yesterday and my backhandspring was late, my group was saying the cheer to early. My groups part of the pyramid was off and I think my dance was a little. I thought that we were gonna get 2nd or third and I was freaking out with nerves, not feeling too confident. We ended up winning fist place and someone on my team got first in all star and she was crying. I know you can can do if and get through it. I did it and I'm 11 I know you guys can do it. 😘

i like how he's preparing them that if they do mess up at competitions, they will see it everywhere on social media and the kids will probably know how to handle it better than other teams/ last year smoed team. i think it's important for coaches to do this because it could lead to an even messier situation (last year NCA) and i hope the cheer world can stay drama free this year.
