Yes, there is an extreme amount of artistry, imagination, creation and intuition is in it. We will hear some "me too" feedback from the team. For intuition and sexuality is the two sides of the same coin. You can't have one without the other 😅

Troy Donockley singing at the end. No , you're not ready for this. LOL. First single from the upcoming 10th album, Yesterwynde, due out Sep 20. I've seen it dozens of times, and don't think I've noticed all the details yet. They didn't know what to call the album, how to express what they wanted to, so they made up a word, Troy came up with it. A live would be awesome, but don't expect it anytime soon. They have said they won't tour the album, taking a break. Rumor says maybe 2026 when they hit the road again. The album is the 3rd in a trilogy of albums , with Endless Forms Most Beautiful and Human:II:Nature, all of which deal with life, science, evolution, nature, etc. You haven't done any songs from those albums yet. To get a better idea of the themes of the trilogy, check out EFMB songs like "Shudder Before the Beautiful" ,"Weak Fantasy" and the epic 21 minute "The Greatest Show On Earth". All played at Tampere 2015 or Wembley 2015. "Noise" is a good intro to Human Nature, great music video, and lives from Deichbrand 2022 and Hellfest 2022.

I truly enjoyed your reaction, it's great to see someone who really appreciates all tfhat is presented here. You're right this song and Nightwish in general are a great gift to us all. Tuomas gives such great consideration to all the elements of their songs. Crafting with such care. This care branches out with each member and the crew. The images brought forth under the direction of Ville Lipiäinen bring it to another level all together. And absolute brilliant production.

Over the years I have been busy finding out my family tree. A lot of my ancestors suffered a lot and often that made me cry although that happened centuries ago. That was such a powerful experience but I am so proud of them! And now Tuomas made a beautiful tribute to all of our ancestors. WOW!! Fyi: Last Monday NW released part 1 of "Making of....Yesterwynde", their new album. Part 2 is following on Monday 3rd of June. I'm so excited! Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks for sharing! My mum's father actually wrote a book about our ancestors who came from England, as far back as he could trace. It was so amazing to be able to read! He finished it just a few years before he passed away. And now we have something very special that he provided for us with all the trials and tribulations they went through.

Nightwish dont dissapoint "did you feel the ghost energy song" I listened to this song many, many times by now, and it is one i like to listen to with my headphones or without, its really a good song, when i can do so to me. Some say Floors voice is low in the mix, and i can agree its hard to get all words she sing, but if you look at it soundwise it sounds amazing!! and after a listen or 2, you know most of lyrics, and its no problem at all, its done fully on purpose for the sound experince of it, and Floor being part of the choir of ancestors,.. cant wait for rest of album!! Yesterwynde is the opening track on new album, i belive its only like a intro, its a little over 2 min long, #2 on album then is a almost 10 min song, thats proberly another epic!! #3 is where i think they bring in a heavy track, and this Perfume of the timeless is #5.. so i think its gonna be a good mix of heavy songs, Epics, and maybe a full balled.. Perfume of the timeless, well its almonst a ghost energy song right, telling all these ancestors is around as ghosts in a timeless world, being around you still, also a message that your existens matters, that your ancestors was going through, sadness, hasppiness, love stories, to make your existence posible, and your actually lucky to win the lottery of life, so seize the day!!!! i feel tuomas also put in a little message that mankind could do better still, Einstein turn to ape.. The title of the album is a word made by band member Troy Donockley, which Holopainen describes as the feeling of time, history, memory, and being connected to past generation, who have "all had their lives, their ups and downs, and they don't exist anymore, except as atoms scattered all over the universe. And we're going to be in that state pretty soon as well. So that should give you something to think about." Holopainen has described the album as being about humanism, history, and the inspiration thereof, and that outlook of the album is positive and optimistic ] Track listing Yesterwynde: release date 20th September 2024 All tracks are written by Tuomas Holopainen. Yesterwynde track listingNo. Title Length 1. "Yesterwynde" 2:43 2. "An Ocean of Strange Islands" 9:26 3. "The Antikythera Mechanism" 5:55 4. "The Day of..." 4:34 5. "Perfume of the Timeless" 8:11 6. "Sway" 4:23 7. "The Children of 'Ata" 5:37 8. "Something Whispered Follow Me" 6:39 9. "Spider Silk" 6:26 10. "Hiraeth" 6:14 11. "The Weave" 4:53 12. "Lanternlight" 6:06 Total length: 71:07

Nightwish isn't just entertainment. It's also food for thought. This song is probably going to offend some people nowadays. Crazy world we live in. Some don't care about facts anymore. Feels like civilization is on a crash course to it's downfall. Anyways.. got here through an earlier Nightwish reaction. Something that really touched me you saying you can relate to Floor as a woman and mother. Floor is amazing, but I also think that way of stay at home moms. And you're even homeschooling your kids. I just love old-fashioned values and hard working people. Bless you.. your husband and your kids 🙏 Greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱 birthplace of Queen Floor. The Dutch windmill. This will keep giving new things for a long long time. The Lantern Fish is a real thing This video reflects Tuomas' marine biology obsession (he wanted to become a marine biologist at one point). Nightwish are official ambassadors for the World Land Trust and have a nature reserve in Mexico named after them. Floor has a beetle named after her, and Tuomas a fungus gnat. You should check out more Nightwish music videos Ville is to music videos what Tuomas' is to music. "That" was a whale skeleton. Try Shoemaker, Elan, Harvest, Noise etc

Enjoyed your reaction to this amazing piece of art. It has all the epic, thought provoking, poetic lyrics and just beautiful storytelling that make Nightwish so magical. Since you enjoyed that softer end part you should checkout another project of Tuomas and Troy along with Tuomas's wife, Johanna Kurkela (famous Finish folk/pop singer) called Auri. That last part feels like it was lifted straight out of an Auri song. My favorite Auri songs are The Space Between, Desert Flower, and The Valley.

Some probability calculations: Step 1. Probability of boy meeting girl: one in 20,000. Step 2. Probability of same boy knocking up same girl: one in 2000. Step 3. Probability of right sperm meeting right egg: one in 400 quadrillion. Step 4. Now lets assume that you have just those 12 generations of ancestors mentioned in the intro to this song. For the probability of every one of those 12 generations of your ancestors having reproduced successfully with right sperm having met the right egg is 400 quadrillion to the 12th power. Given these 4 steps, the probability of you being born you at the present moment is 20k x 2k x 400 quadrillion to the 13th power. Going backwards in time with even more generations of your ancestors, we soon reach a probability of 1 divided by the number of atoms in the entire universe. This makes each one of us a unique miracle.

Yeah, well, I was this close to being stuck at the you seminar with 22 (watch the movie Soul if you haven't). When my parents dated, they lived quite some distance apart, they had a long distance relationship, and my mom was planning to move to another town, a fact that my dad didn't know anything about. The day before her move, dad decided to pay her a surprise visit. If he hadn't, they never would have seen eachother again, probably, and me and my sister wouldn't be here. Neither would my three nieces. Well, I guess the world didn't dodge that bullet 😂
