He had the courage to speak the truth about liberal feminism and also the radicalized progressive left. He also spoke out against radical islam in a time few people were aware of it. He also pointed out the hypocrisy of the liberal feminist left....how they labeled HIM as chauvinistic and hating women but they supported a belief systen that stoned rape victims implemented honor killings FGM. He was a sarcastic asshole but also very brave in that he had the spine to speak the truth about the real motive of women like gloria steinam and the double standard of the progressive left in general. It became a death sentence for his career. His chauvinistic comments about women was for the benefit of liberal feminists. He did it to piss them off. WHY....THEY WERE STILL ARE ...DICTIONARY STUUUUPPPIDDD. Oliver reed married a woman whose IQ was 172. His was 168. She finished middle AND high school at 13. Went onto college completed it at 15...magna cum laud. Went onto graduate studies was out by 20 at the TOP OF HER CLASS. Do you think a true chauvinist would marry her? Everything these feminists wanted to be his wife WAS. After mocking them to show how stupid they sounded he pointed his wife out to them....could THEY do HALF of what SHE DID? THAT was when he zapped them about their almost total blackout on radical islam and how it denied women even basic health care. I wish i could find that video clip again. I suspect Mark Zuckerburgs youtube minions removed it. Lololol..of COURSE what he told these mentally retarded c**** left them FUMING. He told them the TRUTH. The TRUTH has a way of doing that.

He was dominant and probably a know it all. It's not easy to be around people with a severe addiction. But I also believe that he was soft. I realise this is a huge long-shot but who knows eh??Is there anyone out there with any experience willing to give a total novice a chance???
@StevieHypno8 жыл бұрын
Yes, a massive long shot. As part of my degree, I did a screenwriting course. This gave me insight into writing, guys who write stuff I watch on TV talking to me directly about their experiences, and a structured (and crucially pressured) route to my own screenplay. I learned I absolutely loved writing the treatment, the initial synopsis, and used the picture in my head to then go on and write some of the script with loads of enthusiasm. Then the ADD kicked in, and I lost interest, or at least the ability to complete a project in which I'd explored all of the novelty. You might be different. Find a course, use the structure, and find out.

Dean pretty sure the old vic has a scheme for new writers, have a look in to that. If it gets written, I want a part :)

I want to thank you for this wonderful and rare interview of this marvelous talent. What a different persona than the usual interviews of him i have seen of him acting the drunken clown. I found this a wonderful revelation. He is humble, soft-spoken and so sweet-natured here. What a wonderful tribute to this man you have bestowed upon us. Best Wishes, Brian

I stumbled across "Hellraisers'', a great book about Oliver Reed, Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Peter O'Toole and other great British actors who were wild on the screen and off it. Very worth your time

I just looked up that movie with Lee Marvin , Angie Dickinson , and a few others ... it's called POINT BLANK , made in 1967. If anyone here has not seen it , this gemstone is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED .

He was utterly incredible in Oliver! They’re remaking it... Best of luck replacing Reed, Moody, Wild, and Wallis :-/ (NEVER)

Great description. He was an alcoholic there's no doubt, but his charm, charisma and obvious sensitivity make me think he's a great man. The booze helps for some reason.

In 1960 I was 15 years old and working as a delivery boy for Mac fisheries in Camden Town High Street. One day out delivering fish on a pushbike with a basket in the front Oliver Reed and another geezer try take me off my bike. Me being I feisty Little fella gave them both a right mouthful of abuse and went on my merry way. But I don’t recognise Oliver. Now in the year 2018 I am so glad I did not get off and put my fists up because if I had I don’t think I would’ve been writing this now. Great actor, Nutty geezer. Missing him. Not very interesting I know the true story
