Chrom and Ike have the same up-b because both the move is based on Aether, a skill both characters can get in their games! But gameplay wise.... yeah wish they did it differently

Yes, even though Chrom's Aether animation is completely different. However Chrom and Lucina both perform a similar move in Arena Ferox. Imo the true crime is Chrom and Lucina having different movesets because it's a plot point in their game that they have identical fighting styles

If Chrom's variation of the move was closer to canon, where he travels higher and then barrels down at an angle, the move would be a lot better.

Those moves you mentioned are all good with jab being the most standout, but shoutouts to fsmash, one of the best and few combo ending fsmashes in the game next to Steve's.

Nah, that guy at the beginning was right, Chrom is too consistent. Think about it: consistent hitboxes, consistent damage, consistent advantage, consistently bad recovery. IT ALL MAKES SENSE!! :D

this character is just a fan service addition, so they gave him ike up b and made him consistent like lucina and the exact same as roy and called it a day, devs worked too hard on making richter's fire barely different from simon's

Consistency is not the difference between Chrom and Roy lol, the difference is that one can recover, and the other one has less survivability than Little Mac lol
