For context a “rat king” is a of group of rats whose tails have become tied and cemented together, this leads to a massive ball of rats, some living some not, that moves as a single squirming unit. This leads me to believe that the Rat King in this story was more of a collective consciousness of rats rather than a single entity.

I have come across other rat king videos with creepypasta and in those videos there's a distinct individual racking I never heard of what you said I don't know if I should take that as a jest or as some kind of far in god-knows-what anyway sincerely yours, Bob the blind guitarist yes I'm blind that's why the text is not perfect so don't kill me LOL

Robert Sutton I apologize, I hadn’t come across any rat king videos before, could you recommend a good one? Also the rat kings I described are a real thing en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rat_king Edit: after rereading I discovered that Rat King did originally mean an individual and was latter applied to the knotted mass. It’s still creepy though.

@@pmorales4696 What I don't like about the Theme Park Creepypastas is that they would work better as an SCP and not a creepypasta. They require a suspension of disbelief that a stand-alone story just can't carry unless it was written with SusoDis clearly in mind from the begining (which is rarely the case). The SCP universe carries them far better.

The second I heard that a flow of rats came from beneath their car, I payed closer attention to them. Something told me that the rats were key, I honestly still don’t know exactly how, but they became a talking humanoid being when piled together. A cool premise, albeit gross! I love the theme park stories! Most especially ones about Disney. Mainly because I truly believe that that place is shrouded in mystery and horrifying truths. And who could forget Mayhem Mountain? A classic among classics! I loved this one! Props to the author, and of course to our beloved Dr. for blessing us with a 2 hour tale to keep me away from any damn theme parks! Ha! What a fascinating tale, all being done by what we previously considered a significantly Lower life form. Perhaps not quite so low!

Just a full "don't try this at home, kids" disclaimer, as I don't want anyone fooling around or playing with any kind of weapon(s). I know, I know, buzzkiller, but rather be a buzzkill than being even partial to blame for any kind of possible injury. I got a notification for Mr. Nightmare while watching this and I had an internal struggle. I chose to stay as I was already hooked into the story. Best decision ever. Incredible and vivid story. SPOILER ALERT ⚠️ SPOILER ALERT ⚠️SPOILER ALERT ⚠️SPOILER ALERT ⚠️SPOILER ALERT ⚠️ "It's said a human has 3 lives. The death of innocence, the death of naivete and the death of the body." ~Dark-Netflix This story actively engages this quote each time he returns to the park. From the 1st to the last. He lost his innocence when he entered the park with his parents. He lost his naivety when his brother went missing and re entered the park. And even though he didn't physically die, a part of him died when he pulled that trigger. Such a wonderful captivating story with all the scary elements of theme parks around the world and urban legends making the story seem mildly realistic and relatable. I can only imagine what his little brother was seeing all throughout the day but as the story goes it's revealed without having to know his brother's complete point of view. For example. The freak out at the rollercoaster.... It's so very possible he saw the animatronic perched on top and that caused the meltdown.... But then for the same one to appear at the gate... My guess is I'm right. The story was so beautifully written and I loved it. Of course Dr. Creepen the story wouldn't be the same without your narration. You know how to make a person's heart race when it needs to, without being over dramatic and keep people on the edge of their seats with the lure of your rich voice and near perfect expressive dialog. Thank you 🦋

Love the story and I like it when there's length to it because it allows me to get deeply invested. I laughed out loud at that part where the main character is hiding in the last boat going into that cave or whatever it was and the creature in a children's character costume is yelling and swearing at him! Hilarious!

Strangely enough, I want to go give my rat a cuddle after this. Keep him happy and hope he doesn't join any evil rat gangs.

I loved this one!!! Amusement parks and apocolyptic tales are two of my favourite types of creepy/horror. The author did an amazing job! I'd be quite interested in a prequel on tbe Rat King....One can hope. 😉 Another great read, Dr.C. Stay well.

I don’t know if I’m in the minority here, but I really miss the Doc’s old intro, like in something like the Last Chance Ritual, it makes me sad bc the new one is kinda... bland if I’m honest, I hope he brings it back
