My first game of 2025 coming in from Germany….. a much needed improvement with Bernardo and Gvzrdiol leading the way …. All good performances throughout and unlucky for Khusanov but good to see John Stones see it through second half ……. First I have to say brilliant send off for Tony Book by the club and everyone in the stadium, well done. Really felt for Khusanov on his debut. Don't think the City squad will let him dwell on it, Pep and the backroom guys will get him better than he's ever been. For me Josko was MOTM in the first half, then Erling put in a worldy performance in the second for me. The signs around Marmoosh look very promising and the overall fight back was fantastic to see. Omar and Khusanov look great as the game went on too but good performances all over the park from City. Haaland was amazing and what an assist for Phil's great run and finish. Stones' calming influence bodes well for Wednesday too. The crowd were fantastic and proved at least one thing - it's great to be a blue!!

Bernardo outstanding and was everywhere. Mamoush made some excellent runs which KD. will see in the future. John Stones really settled the defence when he came on. We play the top teams which gives us a chance to claw some poi ts. I find it incredible that if we beat Arsenal then we will only be 3 points behind them.

Great VLOG Ian. Thank you. I thought the Egyptian forward was like a glass of Lucozade to the team. The battling qualities were excellent too. I thought Haaland was like a rampaging bull with attitude, an excellent performance. It was great to see the players running back, tackling like Andy Morrison used to do (or even better), winning the ball back whilst hunting in packs and generally earning some good applause from the appreciative crowd.

Impressive comeback from City after that shaky start to the game during which we fell a goal behind .... Gvardiol did well to equalise just before HT, and the two second half goals sealed the win for us, Fodens goal coming as a result of some brilliant link play from Haaland ..... i thought Bernardo, Foden, Haaland, Gvardiol and Marmoush all played well yesterday.

Great vlog as usual Cheesy, was really impressed today with Ederson, Nunes, Bernardo, Foden, Erling....Jösko could of had a hattrick !! Really good performance in my opinion, especially after the misery of PSG on Wednesday.... I had to miss today's game as brought the dreaded lurgy back from Paris and also my lift, and many others heading down from Scotland, were hamstrung by ice, wind, snow and accidents on the roads leading to the M6 - quite a few had to abandon mission because of the crazy storms we have been having. Anyways, great 3 points today, the chance of reaching UCL Play Offs if we beat Club Bruges as we would go ahead of the Belgians should we win on Wednesday..... What a difference a cohesive performance can have on the psyche of Blues everywhere. 🩵⚽️🇧🇼😁👌💯
