I married a Filipina turtle. You got that right. Took years what normally would of taken weeks with other women regardless of nation. But the patience of investment is well worth it.

I met my Filipina wife in HK. I saved her from a toxic employment situation. We have a child together and we now live in the Philippines, owning residential and commercial property and we have a decent income. We have been together for 10 years I don't kid myself. She is 12 years younger than I am. She saw an opportunity to improve her life and she took it.. Good luck to her. There is no 'love' in our relationship - we simply live our separate lives - but we are doing just fine.

Appreciate you sharing your experience. Are you guys together focused more on business if you don’t mind me asking?

@@WatchCaliforniaExpat It's mainly business. Initially it was emotional but that changed, I suppose by tacit consent. I am divorced from my first wife. My wife's marriage is annulled. However, our arrangement suits our family. We have money and an income. Our relationship is based on mutual respect. Our primary concern is the well-being of our family.

Love the title. Almost sounds like a kid's story book with lesson, except this lesson is for adults. Ty California Expat.

I never heard it explained that way. For me take your time, listen to the lady you learn more from listening then talking. She will tell you everything you need to know. There are so many great and beautiful Filipinas. Don’t be in a rush.

Find one with no family, the family, they will mentally abuse her into getting $$ from you, they will do whatever they can to drain you. You are a walking ATM to them and now she is the debit card.... Trust me, Find one with little to no family. I wish I would have known this before marrying my pinoy. Love her to death but it will break up your marriage sooner or later.
