No late night show host does cooking segments better than Seth. It's joyful chaos and I love it! Chef Nurdjaja clearly came prepared for Seth and not just kept up but kept ahead of him.

It's not specifically Bosnian, it's Balkan. Every Balkan country has its own version. In Croatia where I used to live it was the most common street food. Also what on earth did they put on it in this episode, lol. Hummus?? Where's the Ajvar. Smh

Yeah, they should have had a full sink with running hot water installed on the stage for a 4 minute segment. Or maybe, just maybe, they washed their hands offstage like reasonable people right after the segment ended. I doubt Seth went home with raw lamb on his hands. Relax.

It's a cooking segment on a comedy show, not a commercial kitchen. You're a germophobic slave to the over-sensationalized and under-educated. There's no way anyone would get sick from 0.01g of raw meat on their hands. I've been making fresh sausage for over 30 years, and I always take a small taste of the raw meat to see if it's seasoned right. I've never gotten the slightest bit sick. Lots of people all over the world eat raw meat because they know how to handle it properly. It's no longer the 1960s - there hasn't been a case of trichinosis from pork in the US in decades. It would take leaving that meat out unrefrigerated for hours and then eating an entire meatball to get just an upset stomach.

2:05. Cevapcici a Bulgarian kind of kabob? Are you kdding me? In the Balkans wars have been fought over lesser words. Have you not heard of Bosnia? Croatia? That's like saying that Coney Island hot dogs are a Minnesota kind of sausage. Shame. Shame. Shame.
@kindabluejazz
@kindabluejazz 11 ай бұрын
She just said hers was a Bulgarian version of a kebab. Ćevapčići variants are found in places other than it's likely origin of Bosnia - just like how the Bosnians modified the Turkish kebab to their liking, just like how there are Chicago as well as Coney Island style hot dogs. But yeah, wars have been fought over some of the most petty things.

@justsaying14 2:13 she literally says this Is like a Bulgarian kebab...I am Bulgarian and live in bg. What I said is correct. Now if I'm honest the recipe for these types of dishes varies from country to country and the chef probably added her own spin to it as well. But she specifically said Bulgarian kebab and I correctly pointed out the wrong pronunciation that's all..
