My momma made this pizza kit for us !!! We didn’t have much growing up so this was a cheap way for us to have pizza too !!! She put hamburger on it . I also made it for my kids while they were growing up !!! Still make it once in awhile for my husband and I or for my grandkids!!! Very nostalgic!!!! We like it too ! God bless !

I must have been looking in the wrong spot (I looked by all the Chef Boyardee products & also where the pizza sauce was🤷‍♀️🤔) but they were delivered tonight and I will try it this weekend! My mom would make Chef Boyradee pizzas when I was young in the late 60’s & 70’s. I kept making them when my boys was growing up. They are grown & out of the house now but my husband Jerry & I still make them. Yummy!

Terrific video Amy🎉🍕This is one of my first food memories "1960's" I have as a toddler. I thought it was soooo exotic😂 & delicious. I WAS IN LOVE❣️Mom had pizza making contests for us at home with friends, & Scouts/Youth group. Later in college we kept the tradition going. I was just asking someone if they still made the Chef Boyardee pizza kits! I haven't seen them in the grocery store in a while. You must've picked up on my ESP all the way from Shreveport! LOL! I"ve been wanting to do this! Thanks for letting me know! 😁❤️ Also, a tip with the pepperoni: I pop mine in the microwave first. It brings out the oil. I pat them off then place them on the pizza. The pizza doesn't get as oily. Just a tip my brother taught me. Thought I'd share with you. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

Hey Amy, I didn’t think that I knew anyone who ever made these pizzas! You’re the first! But we have always loved them! The crust is the hardest part and it’s really easy but I can see why some get overwhelmed. I used to be that way too. I would cook these for our kids too and then found that my late husband loved them too. We also like the cheese instead of the pepperoni one. I’ve also made the deep dish recipe from the box. It’s made in a 9x13 casserole dish. It’s good but not as good as the thinner crust. I’m so glad you did this video. Maybe more people will try these pizzas.

I remember going to a friends house when I was about 13 and her mama did hair in a salon off their kitchen. We’d been messin around all day, doing what kids do in the summer in the country… lol I guess we were rummaging around in the kitchen. Her mama said, come here, feom her salon area. She gave us some money and said walk up to the store and get yall a pizza box. That’s what we got and came back Home n made it. It was so good! That’s my memory of those. I think the crud i is a good idea! I went in to make the dough in my bread maker and make homemade pizzas. I think I’ll get one of these boxes cause it’s just me And that’s quick n easy. You have given me a great idea for a Sat. meal that I just wouldn't have thought of on my own. Husband loves pizza & I've made some homemade ones but not this one. Also, the salad! I like the black olives & hubby likes the peppers. Might add some purple onions. 😋 You always make everything look so good & remind us that life's simple pleasures are the best especially when made with love.
