We used to just make the crust (which was surprisingly the best part of the kit) and top it with real sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. 🍕

@@ChristopherSobieniak More a case of having a more discriminating plate now at 56 than I did in 1977, when I also had less choice about what I ate. Also, I'm conscious about nutrition and health nowadays. It's distressing when I encounter other men my age who are still eating as they did when they were 19.

This was just before frozen pizza became wildly popular, and the only you could enjoy easy homemade pizza.. And as a kid, it was not bad...very salty..and tasty..

@@ChristopherSobieniak So true, I made those Jiffy Blueberry muffins all the time, and at 10 for a dollar, they were in our cupboard all the time, but don't recall their pizza kits..
