Welcome to Day 8 of my journey as a chef on a luxurious yacht! Join me as we navigate a day of unexpected twists as I continue my culinary adventure on the high seas.
Join me as I take a look at the aftermath of the storm, manage inventory, salvaging overripe fruit to create a delicious pear crisp, and cooking throughout the day. A fun turn of events brings the owner of the yacht back to the boat in a school bus. As lunchtime approaches for our guests, I craft an elegant spread of kale salad, potato leek soup, and ceviche. Challenges arise - blown fuses give us a closer look into the engine room for solutions. For cocktail hour, join me in preparing cucumber bites with smoked salmon. We end the night with a dinner of pasta and seared scallops. And for dessert, we have the pear crisp crowned with a scoop of ice cream, a sweet and satisfying conclusion to the day.
