Y'all I used vegan butter. For future reference, when you see a vegan recipe developer it's safe to assume that they know what they are doing and know that butter and eggs aren't vegan. The bread is also vegan. Please just trust that vegans know how to read ingredient labels, thanks!

Margarine isn't always vegan (sometimes has animal products in it), hence vegan butter. But yes, you could use a vegan margarine instead too.

@@manavshah8335 I can’t answer cottage cheese because I personally never liked it so it’s not something I’ve looked into. But Tofu, it depends on what you’re cooking as there are quite a few options. In fact, there are recipes to make your own tofu.

We have this in England. 'Fried bread' normally with an English breakfast. Normally in rapeseed oil or lard. It's delicious. Gonna try the butter 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇲

Why wouldn't it melt well? It's literally solidified oil, it melts immediately when you add heat. Just like those wrapped American cheese slices (except Kraft also uses a tablespoon of milk in theirs, IIRC)

Hell yea dude. As a person who is transitioning to the vegan lifestyle, you have taught me to instead of cutting out meals, you replace them. My favorite thing is the bacon, I wouldn’t never thought to use rice paper but it is genius!

That’s how I toast my burger buns, I tend to do them in my pancake pan because it’s the only usable frying pan we own at the minute, but the low rim means I can put my tava on it which presses the bread down, perfect even roasting every time
