I played this entire campaign on veteran at least 3 times. Now like 8 years later, I play it again and I don't understand how could I've completed this shit. I thought the soviet campaign was harder, but up to this point, those missions were a piece of cake. The asian campaign is the absolute NIGHTMARE. "Burn 'em Out" was sick, "Relentless" drove me nuts yesterday and now this one. I'm stuck in this level now. The worst thing is that the checkpoints are so far away from one another, when you got killed you have to start like one mile and 200 enemies earlier. I didn't remember this was so fucking hard. 😡😡😡

One of my favorites from the game. Funny how many people all saying how difficult this mission was. And it truly was. But I think was an attempt to show how much of a blood bath the real battle of Okinawa was. Across 83 days of fighting, there were somewhere between 220,000 and 250,000 deaths between American and Japanese forces and native Okinawan civilians. That’s more than 2 a minute for 83 days.

Chocolate McCookies Alright, maybe it isn't awful and it is a very realistic game which is fully world war 1 themed, however it gets boring easily after some time as it lacks in content. I mean take an example from Battlefield 1. Battlefield 1 isn't fully a ww1 themed game however it is extremely fun and doesn't get boring easily, but also it doesn't lack in content like Verdun. Verdun also doesn't have a campaign with a great story. Campaign is a big part of the game that should be made in almost every game, unless if it's aimed to be a multiplayer game and Verdun doesn't seem to be aimed only for multiplayer.

This game is from 2008 so even core i3 1st gen or pentium from 2013- will do, even core 2 duo might do. Bear in mind core 2 duo is the minimum (not necessarily smooth) requirement for csgo so it would probably work for 2008 cod. I played fifa 09 with core 2 duo and motherboard graphics without issuem

This mission was the GOAT for me, It had everything you can imagine. Suspensful scenes, graphics scenes and most importantly unique details like planting satchel charges which you only do in this mission, I sadly didn't play this game when it came out (i played and finished it in like 2019) but it's one of the best shooters i've ever experienced, I'm so sad games like this are basically non existant at this point.

If you look at the date of this mission it's May 14th, Nazi Germany surrendered on a few days earlier on May 8th marking VE Day in Europe but on Okinawa the fighting went on for another 2 months, The 6th Marine Division suffered heavy casualties in an epic battle for Sugar Loaf Hill which it took 11 assaults to capture

Veteran is just not what it used to be. This campaign had to be played in stages. You’re more than likely not doing this in a couple sittings, or maybe you were. But you had to go into a few levels on here with a fresh mind or you’re just gonna end up with a hole in your wall.
