That's my definition of karma--the seeds you sow bear fruit. Not every seed will take and weeds are always gonna pop up, but the more good seeds you sow, the more likely you are to get some good fruit turning up. You can be a peacemaker without having to believe it's because of Jesus. Many of us peacemakers don't follow Jesus or the Bible. I took that path for many years and it didn't serve me well. I was always the nice one and people took advantage of that and it made me a target for abuse. In my workplace I was told by my coworkers that others target me because I'm "too nice". Left me feeling bitter, used and abused at every turn.
