I'm a nobody, and I can't afford to support more than I just like and follow ... but can I just tell you this brought me to tears. I've never had a "mom" or "grandma" as I was a foster kid due to some fairly bad abuse. This made me wish I was 7 again and could have been standing next to you learning this recipe and helping. I love all of your videos... but this one is just crazy moving.

I use Jiffy mix because I drop them by the spoonful and if you don't over mix it they'll be light and fluffy inside! Plus we add carrots and celery and sometimes a bit more veggies. Good stuff! 💞 I cook it 15 without a lid and 15 with a lid. Well now I know what the dumplings are made of that are more like a noodle to me . All about what we grew up eating! 😂 💞💕

I think that pile of beautiful cooked carrots, celery, onions & garlic should be used to make another dish to eat 😋😋😋 Shame to just compost them all 🫣
@JulieannsSerenityКүн бұрын
I think that’s a great idea, especially for those of us that don’t do any gardening. Although they were cooked alongside chicken, maybe they could be cut up and put into a beef stew or cut up into a different soup?
@kellyebullock9762Күн бұрын
Yes! I always pureed the veggies and put them back in the broth. Once I was in a hurry and didn't do that. My husband said these are good but you did something different. My oldest daughter piped up and said, "Mama didn't hide the veggies in there like she usually does" 😮😅😅 The consensus was that it was better WITH the pureed veggies!!
@jacquelinelee922310 сағат бұрын
This looks delicious. I've haven't seen a recipe using egg in the dumpling. It looks more like a flat noodle. That is a beautiful rich broth. Pam I'm grateful for your videos. Full of information. I did try your salt shaker method and ended up pushing it in the box lol. All in all it still shakes out. Thank you

so i kept seeing Queen Abundance Secrets by alex lane pop up in youtube comments, and i kinda brushed it off. i thought it was just another “think positive” book, but eventually, i gave in and read it. it was way more practical than i expected, and it got me thinking about how i use my energy to bring in what i want. it’s not flashy or anything, but it’s worth a look if you’ve been feeling stuck.

I used to have the Celtic (Irish) & Japanese version growing up. All salt was Soy Sauce. Chicken, your dumpling, kinda thick ckicken-y chicken sauce/ gravy all over a big bowl rice with tops of green onions to make green color! Sometimes orange carrots and sometimes pink ginger.

Today I made Pennsylvania Dutch chicken and rivels. To make those I just mix one egg and one cup of flour give or take and a little salt. I mix it and drop the little blobs into the soup and those are my dumplings, but they are called rivels.

Wow, that's very interesting. Up north I have been taught to make dumplings much thicker. I was taught the point was to make it less like a noodle, that there should be a slight dry spot in the middle of the dumpling. I'll have to try this your way.
