What a blessing to have a good and humble son who honors his mother/parents with a beautiful home. Your mother is blessed to have you as a son. Working in Europe is not easy and am sure there were/are many tribulations that you've gone through to get to this point to be able to save a few euros to build this home. The house looks really lovely. The decor looks excellent! This is just a suggestion, is it possible to consider dinning chairs that are practical for mama to use which have a back rest? Perhaps for your master chef classes you could use the bar stools that you have but for everyday use you might want to consider normal chairs which support the back for safety. Chairs which are suitable for all ages. It's up to you but, it's a suggestion.

Mom’s house is beautiful. Even so, instead of taking the houses, consider putting a thatch roof, color the walls and doors and raise the entrance to prevent water from coming in. It will look really pretty. You can conserve history and make it look beautiful

Matiko instead of a long line get a rotary washing line that can be folded down when not in use and looks alot nicer. They also sell a plastic cover to cover it when not in use to protect it.If not in Kenya can order in line from Amazon.
