Didn't expect so much authenticity in little chokha from a Punjabi guy. Traditional style of litte making on upla, garlic inside 🍆 while baking, use of musturd oil in chocka. I can say 99% authentic litti chokha(deducted 1% because of the way sir prepared litti on upla, but that's ok, can understand preparing in complete traditional style is not so easy in today's city life). Hat's off to you sir.

i have never thought that a cooking video can left me teary eyes, but this video did. Sir ranveer have taken a most authentic recipe from the roots of bihar and shown it to the millions of indians. Till some years ago , this food was stereotyped as the meal of poor class people in most of the other part of the country , but is now part of the live counter of the most of the indian wedding functions in north india. I don't like mustard oil in cooking but when I first tried litti chokha, I absolutely loved the taste. Mustard oil actually enhance the taste. Litti chokha eastern UP me bhi bahut famous hai. Ranveer has used exactly the same method to prepare litti chokha which I saw during my childhood. Sumptuous is the word for it :)
