My Grandma was actually the live-in cleaning lady/assistant for the Baskin family back in the 60's and 70's for their vacation home in the Coachella Valley. She spoke really highly of them. She said they're genuinely nice people and that they treated her like family the entire time. I always thought that was a cool story to hear growing up, especially after picking up a couple of scoops of pistachio from Baskin Robbins lol
