MasyaAllah... AlhamduliLlah, thank you Chefs Of Sweden for showing us the three main factors that makes a burger...well, a burger! With the spirit from your BAMM...i hope every street vendor peddling Ramly Burger would take this as an example. Simple yet effective because we can stop buying mayonnaise and use the money to buy these 3 most important ingredients which are : 1- Mustard. This is a must. 2- Pickles. Compulsory!!! 3- In here we called it tomato sauce or universally, it's called ketchup but branded one. And kudos for showing us the right technique to cook a patty too. These three ingredients are what makes a burger...well, a burger! It is acceptable if we want to add our own style like adding chili sauce since for us Asians, we prefer our burgers to be a bit sweeter ; but never, ever use the cheap version of the chili sauce just to cut cost because that kind of sauce is made out of merely sugar, flavoring, corn/tapioca starch syrup, colouring, preservatives and other unhealthy chemical substances. Also, for some us, we can dip the patty into our specially made bbq sauce too. For Malaysians, of course we love our spicier version, so why not try adding cili padi pickles. Whatever we want to do, just remember those 3 BAM ingredients from our Swedish Chef, which actually what i always did with my Ramly burger that i bought from the street vendor which was always just patty, vege and bun... At home, those 3 ingredients is what i always used. If not mustard, thousand island sauce will do the job just fine. Last but not least, when there's no customers, rather than lepaking, why not lepaking while slicing our own potatoes and sell it as the french fries. See! Make money while lepaking (loitering) and boraking (chit-chatting) 😊 Lastly, Chefs Of Sweden thank you for showing us on how to personalize our burger according to our style and taste, whilst at the same time making us realize the three essential factors which makes a burger truly a burger, and may Allah bless you with abundance of rezeki...BAMM! 😊

How much is one double beef patty and double cheese burger? Look like gourmet burger but true what Anton said you can actually choose whatever filling or topping you want in a Ramli burger. Some of the vendor do put American mustard and relish in their Ramli burger. I remember growing up in Kuching, they put baked beans in the Ramli burger and taste delicious! Once of its kinda. Half fried eggs, I believe it’s taste nice if you eat there at the stall, but for take away (to go) where you will only eat them 15-20 minutes later, the running yolk will add the sogginess to the burger. I personally do not like to much sauce and onion in my Ramli burger, and always request them to my preference. Anyway can’t wait for you to open your own burger joint in Malaysia!

hahaha, no wonder my burger was missing the egg & cheese 6:31. I must have ordered it wrongly. The last time I ordered a ramly burger was >20 years ago 😅 the new sauce was good, it accentuates other ingredients, you can actually taste the meat, charred buns & veggies. however as a malaysian it is very difficult to decouple a burger from the delicious sweet chili sauce, missing that warm fuzzy feeling 😊

I understand the bald chef's thought about the burger and want to "improve" it, but u guys are not improving anything per se but are just making different kinds of burger. The too much sauce criticism is valid and even for me as a Malaysian agree on that, but at the end of the day Ramly street burger has deeprooted itself into Malaysia's food culture the way they were for ages. I appreciate the sentiment but what u guys made were just twist on Western burger.
