@@janmalecek3278 I honestly can't even tell you. Individually the ingredients certainly aren't. I hear it's a nice combination on carrots or chicken. Something about adding it to ice cream just screamed pretention to me and gave me a giggle.

That's a thing in popsicles now. They've started adding gelatin to curb the melting process, especially in ones that are mostly marketed for kids. And I need to vouch for INIFINITEx. Frozen jelly/jello/flavored gelatin is VERY good. When I was a kid someone (probably me) accidentally put the jello cups in the freezer. Someone (probably me) decided to try the frozen jello (because lols why not). Favorite summer treat for me and my sister ever since.

I symphatise; you just finish collecting ALL your mise place in one neat stack ready to exit the walk-in and head to your station in one trip. You knee the the door open, carefully pass the plastic curtains and made it out unscathed even with both hands occupied and mise place still in one nice stack. The fog hits, you're blind and before you know it the door slams shut, fml you mutter under your breath, you're blind and you're in the wild now.

Not to ruin the fun but you cannot accurately measure brain signals like that. The signals displayed on the wall do not represent activations from the gustatory brain structures but are basically just noise from your muscles contracting. (Perhaps that is what they wanted to measure?) Either way, those signals did not represent a brain freeze.

This was originally was a tough mixture of sawdust and ice, that didn't melt, in WW2 they planned to make huge unsinkable aircraft carriers from it (Project Habakkuk). You have obviously never had a sticky child covered in melted ice lolly to look after. I love my brothers but cleaning them up after eating an ice lolly on a day out is a nightmare and no matter what they're sticky until you bath them. I would buy that for them over a regular ice lolly in a heartbeat.

British museum of food?! Science and food combined in a museum? Seems utterly amazing, I am sad it was temporary. Now wait for the next...

I've done this with little flavored Konnyakku jellies from the store. Pop a toothpick in and freeze them.

I remember having 'unmeltable' ice cream when I was a little kid living in Singapore. It was called Paddle Pop hip hop jelly or something made by Wall's. Is this a relatively new concept in the UK? I haven't seen it in Australia after moving here.
