I've said it before, I'll say it again, and I'll continue to say it. If it's food that has gold it is automatically pretentious. There is no way around it. Gold adds no flavor or texture worth having. It is only used to give things a more expensive appearance which is definitionally pretentious.

I LOVED Poppy's take on this! Her viewpoints were on point from both a chef-y AND a normal average person's standpoint. She's way more grounded and down-to-earth, yet still has the experience and knowledge to appreciate the finer things. She's literally the perfect person to do this "Pretentious or not" videos IMO. This probably the first time I agreed with every single outcome. Overall, I really love seeing her in these videos, and I really hope she becomes a more regular guest (or even a part of the team) because she really does add a lot to these videos and is a great addition. It's just great to see someone with completely different but just as compelling and credible take on things than the rest of the team. Just wanted to say that I'm thankful that you guys are working to get past reading the manufacturer's claims out verbatim. It's a food channel, not a science channel, but it's still appreciated to have some initial scepticism over what they say, as well as making it clear that you're entirely judging on taste, rather than the fancy "bonus health effects" that some of these things can claim. The mushroom beer a few episodes ago was a bit concerning as it was lent a bit too much credence by the guys as it was giving out incredibly bold claims - but this style of explicitly saying your situation out is the right way to go I think.

Poppy seems such a part of the team, I'd be happy with anything she does with the lads. I love her energy, her humour, and her presence in the show.

its i great to see Poppy she is down to earth and more normal that the rest of the team - she says things that a normal person would say. can you imagine the lads saying something was tacky!

Poppy is an awesome, super fun, addition. She can show up in anyway she please. A bit of a feminine influence is something I didn’t know Sorted needed but it’s very welcome! The woman has an amazing sense of humor and is totally relatable. Will look forward to more content with her.

The thing to remember about CBD is that it is expensive. A 50ml CBD tincture costs upwards of $50-90 (in CA). Depending on the CBD content, and the added bitters, this might be a decent deal.

cbd vape juice is spendy too especially of its high MG

The whole presentation of it is pretentious as heck, though.
@GonzoDonzo3 жыл бұрын
That price isnt coming down anytime soon either. Cbd strains are just starting to be developed and your lucky to get 5% cbd content in a strain. So it takes 5x or more plant material to produce
@zephramartin66323 жыл бұрын
@@rolfs2165 yea they absolutely could have shaved the price down by like 10 quid with a simpler box design
@wumpscutx13 жыл бұрын
CBD is mainly extracted from hemp though which is industrially grown. Strains have nothing to do with that. People are just price gouging because legal cannabis in all it's various forms is super trendy now.

I'd love to see if you guys can make your own boxed candy type things but on a budget, sort of like those filled dates.

As someone who has a very high sensitivity to the taste of alcohol : the phrases "pure alcohol" and "tastes delicious" do not exist in the same sentence under any circumstances.
