A pleasure flight onboard The Cavanaugh Flight Museum's DHC-4A Caribou. The flight took place in April 2019 and headed us around the northern suburbs of Dallas. Upon return the crew pleased us with a touch and go and a short pattern around the airfield. N149HF was built in 1963 and is one of very few airworthy Caribous. This airframe has served in Vietnam and still shows a few bullet holes from that time. The footage at the end of the video is from the day before when the aircraft arrived from the Sun & Fun Airshow in Florida. A big thank you to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum for arranging this flight for us, especially in-between the dense airshow and crew time schedules.
