This is very important, something in your technique could be the problem, but you don't want to make the problem even worse ! P

Hey Pat ! the tone is a combination of the touch about 80% and the EQ would be the remaining 20%, I wouldn't focus so much on EQ each bass responds quite different, if you're interested add me on Facebook so I can tell you more about it :D
